mag sirs,ask ko lang poh..kasi i just purchased a helmstar mesh jacket from a fellow MCP forumer..kaso faded na yung reflectorized lining nya..is there a way to bring back its reflectorize ability..??or i'll purchase a 3M lining and then attach it on the jacket??or replace the whole lining??ito po ung model ng helmstar na katulad po nung mesh jacket na binebenta ni sir overdose..ung may V-lining sa harap at likod..help nmn poh mga sir..thanks in advance sa mga mgpopost..

Chief alam ko sa Divisoria may 3M Reflectorized strips, di ko lang alam kung saan yung eksaktong pwesto.

Suggest ko na lang na bili ng reflectorized vest, mas malapad at mas visible ka pa sa gabi. Si Overdose ata meron.

yung reflectorized vest meron nun sa grand central monumento (mall sa monumento LRT station). dun sa "WORKSHOP" sa second floor. ito yung parang Ace hardware nila dun sa grand central monumento. 200 petots lang ito dun mas maganda kung ito na lang bilhin mo dahil mas di hamak na mas visible at reflective ito kesa dun sa strip nung jacket.

bili ka na lang ser nung reflectorized na workers vest sa mga DIY store yung puro strips lang then putulin mo at patahi mo sa iba't ibang bahagi ng vest mo ser like sa arms, likod at sa harap.

Meron din ganyan sa Gaisano (picture below) pero hindi kaya ako mapagkamalang traffic officer? Meron akong jacket noon na pinag dikitan ko ng reflectorized tape. Pero ang bagong jacket ko ay ayaw ko ng dikitan kasi after some time, the tape deteriorates at panget tingnan. Ang body bag ko that I wear over the jacket nalang ang nilagyan ko.

Meron din ako nakita sa ACE Hardware at Market Market. P149 lang sya, sa may powertools sections ata. Naka bag pa na neon green, tapos white yung rectorized strips. Pwede mong tanggalin bro, kasi kapag yung boung vest ang ginamit mo hindi ka pormang rider, para kang crew sa NLEX. Ang bentahe lang ay very visible ka because of the reflector and the neon green vest.

try nyo mag ride na meron reflective vest na ganyan. you will notice na medyo ilag ang ibang motorists na dikitan kayo basta. lalu na yung mga taxi at jeepney drivers.... pag nakita kayo dadaan papaunahin pa kayo sa kalye.

here's what i have done on the back of my JR Phoenix 3 jacket.......the reflectorized strips were bought in Divisoria (P56 per yard only).....take note, it does have better reflection than 3M ones.....even at about a kilometer (700-800 meters), kita mo pa rin riding buddy mo...subok ko na namin yan....nga lang di sya pwde labhan with the jacket kaya i had them mounted on velcro straps (P16 per yard sa NBS) para removable sya pag lalabhan na jack mo.

Tama ka sir! meron din ako reflectorized vest (white relector) na nabili ko sa grand central, lagi ko suot ito sa gabi pag pauwi me, ilag ang mga motoristang kasabay ko sa daan, and minsan panay ang flash (hi/lo) ng headlight ng kasalubong ko (indicating na nakita or napansin nila ako).. at di ako pinapara sa check point ng PNP sa gabi pag nakasuot ako nun.. hehehe

Laki talaga tulong sa gabi nung reflectorized vest in terms of safety and visibility natin mga naka MC sa daan.. RIDE SAFE!

kung alam mo yung Ylaya st sa divisoria, from the fire station, meron dun metro bank, halos katabi lang nung metro bank yung tindahan ng mga reflective strips. P60 dati per yard yung 1inch na strip. nakalimutan ko lang yung pangalan nung shop, pero tindahan yun ng mga accessories ng tela, like zippers, ribbons, (pati nga ata tela mismo meron sila dun)

you can also check those shops that sells bed foam, linoleoum / canvass and bag parts along juan luna (near KP tower) meron din sila na mga tinda ng reflective strips. ito naman yung shops na may mga tinda ng plastic parts na usually ikinakabit sa mga backpacks. kahilera naman usually ito ng mga fishing supplies dun sa juan luna.
