guys,,kbibili ko lang poh kasi ng helmet kahapon,sa JT triumph poh sa caloocan..CL-22 po ung model,nkalagay na sticker is HJC pero ung mnufacturer ng helmet is Z1R..un din ung nkasulat sa manual at sa plastic cover ng visor,okei lang poh bah yun?? please guys help me decide..pinuntahan ko na poh website ng Z1R at nkita ko nga poh dun ung binili kong helmet,DOT approve nmn poh kaso ngworry lang ako bkit ganun??ung sticker HJC pati ung box HJC din..may label pa nga sa labas na CL-22 ung box ehh..okei po ba na brand yung Z1R??kasi kung puro negative comments lang mkukuha koh,its better na ibalik ko skanila or papalitan ko nlang..

bro, i'm not sure if Z1R is underlicesed by HJC...ang alam ko, magka-ibang companies yan....and if ever, sister company yan they'll be using their own brandnames when selling the product...

HJC had been around for quite some time...and had established its reputation...Z1R is known in the US to be a manufacturer of MC apparels including helmets...

check it out with the store...if you paid for the price of HJC, then it's HJC you should get....this will even stand if you file a case sa DTI...

on sale poh kasi ang helmet na toh,20% poh..so i think its a good buy..tinanong ko kung orig. na HJC yun sabi oo daw..well known nmn ang JT triumph na distributor ng HJC helmets..(tama po ba??)..ayun,ung medium size lang ang nka sale,kung bibili daw ako ng ibang size,balik 2k daw ang price nya..tinanong ko kung bkit ung M lang ang nka sale,sabi skin nung inorder daw kasi nila yan,nka discount na..kaya hindi nlang daw nila bnago yung discounted price..na-check ko na din poh ung website ng DOT,may test result xa dun..and manufacturer is HJC(Hong Jin(Beijing)Sports Goods Co.) pero ang brand name is Z1R..stated dun sa 2005 result,pass xa sa lahat ng test including Impact;Labeling..pero sa penetration nag failed xa sa second blow..sa tingin nyo po ba HJC xa tlaga??pang back ride ko po kasi itong helmet na ito eh..if ever maaccident(wag nmn sana)..kaya,kaya nito iprotect ung head ng nagsusuot??

your backride's helmet should be as good as yours....better check with Thriump..so they could give you a good explanation regarding this two conflicting brands in one helmet....

i've already checked a lot of websites in the i.net that sells Z1R helmets,just like mine..and yung description nila lahat is DOT approve..even on the official website of Z1R DOT approve din..ang mga Full Face helmets ng Z1R lahat po DOT/Snell approve..sa tingin ko poh,ung mga materials nila is from HJC pero ung ngawa ng helmet is Z1R..tama po bah??confused lang nmn poh kasi ako bkit HJC ung sticker nya..kung Z1r xa..dpat ganun nlang din ung sticker..eniwei,what do you think sir??may no. po ba kayo ng JT triumph??ill try to call them nlang and ask bkit ngkaganun..

sir tumawag na po ako sakanila..mukhang ung manager ung nkausap ko..ka boses nya po kasi ung big boss dun kahapon eh..niwei,gawa din daw ng HJC un..katulad din daw poh ng mga harley-davidson helmet,even thou harley ung nkasulat sa helmet..hjc daw poh ang gumawa..cguro nga poh tama po ung theory koh..hehe..materials ng HJC pero ipinangalan sa Z1R dahil cla ung bumile ng mterials..hehehe..okei na poh ako,im convinced na HJC ito,iba lang brand name..and DOT certified xa..sa tingin nyo poh??

sir......i don't want to cause you much alarm....but this is what i've found on the net..............HJC America Inc. has manufactured the Z1R Metro helmets....same looks and design as the HJC CL-22..........look at the picture that i've attached......the first one is a Z1R metro while the 2nd is an HJC CL-22.........yet on these links, they say the said helmets are due for recall......http://motorcycles.about.com/b/a/257602.htm

bumili din ako dati ng helmet dyan sa jt hjc cs-12 format sale kc pero ung una na nagustuhan ko is cs-12 look model pero ung binigay nila na helmet sticker lng ung logo ng hjc hindi naka top coat sa helmet at pancin ko din hindi pulido ung pagkakagawa sa helmet like ung gliters lagpas sa mga dapat na lining kaya ung kinuha ko is ung cs 12 format pulido talaga at topcoat ung sticker!bakit kaya sila nagbebenta ng ganun dun????halatang d orig na HJC!!!distributor pa naman ng sila HJC!!!

naku sir..maraming salamat poh sa info..kinabahan na tuloy ako..pero dibah poh ang covered ng failed penetration is ung mga helmets na ginawa from january-septmber of 2004..eh paano po ung mga helmets na ginawa ng 2005 onwards??safe po bah..anyway po..tatawagan ko poh ulet yung jt triumph to ask the details from them..paano kaya kung ibabalik koh??kasi pwede daw po pilitan nlang pero hindi nmn po pwede isauli yung bayad..haay..sana po ng zeus 803 nlang ako..kaso tight poh kasi ang budget koh..paano po kaya ang gagawin koh??haayy..ang hirap nmn..hindi ko alam ang gagawin koh..

tingin ko sir iba ng materials yung ginamit nila duon sa 2005 onwards yan din kasi ang helmet ng backride ko pero if you want a full protection fullface helmet na bilin nyo konti lang naman ang deperensya . . .

sana HJC CL14 na binili mo. konte lang ata difference nun e. full face pa sya..

mga sirs thank you poh sa mga reply nyo..ang mhal nmn po kasi ng CL-14 2k lang poh kasi budget koh..niwei..binalik ko poh ung helmet sa jt triumph khapon..so binalik poh nila ung pera..hindi pa nmn poh kasi ngamit eh..tpos punta ako exceed..ung zeus 803 nlang po binili koh..nkuha ko xa for 1.8k..hehe..mas okei pa yun tlagang dot&ece tpos full face pa..haayy..buti nnga lang poh binalik yung pera koh..ayun..hapi nmn poh ung bhebhe koh ngayun with her new helmet..candy red poh ang color..hehehe..ala po kacing small size sa black eh..ayun..thanks poh tlaga sa mga comment and advise nyo..lalo na poh sa info. ni sir Col.Ted..tlagang nkatulong po yun..thanks poh ulet..Problem Solved..!!! hehehe..mods pa close na poh ng thread..

good thing that you were able to return it...you're a lot better with the Zeus 803...

one of our members who recently had an accident while wearing his 803, donated the helmet to our group, i had it cut in half...this is what we've found out:
1. The ABS shell is fairly thick and sturdy.
2. Dual slotted EPS for better ventilation.
3. Thick EPS liner.
4. Very good comfort liner.

and from the look on the EPS...it really did absorb the force of impact...and the faceshield had very deep scratches all over but did not break that could have caused cuts in the rider's face.

it lacks EPS on the chin bar though...overall the 803 is better enough to be an entry-level helmet compared to other brands within their price bracket...
