I'm planning to order a helmet online. Would the sizes here differ from the sizes there?

afaik....they are just the same......they may differ in brands though......yet most common & known brands have the same sizes.......do get familiarize yourself with the particular brand you're eyeing.....try out one here.....wear it...feel it.....make sure it's snug fit.....meron din available size charts on thei websites for your reference.:)

bro, some pointers based from experience

... make sure that you can return your purchase in case the lid is too tight or loose...[and on your pocket expense for the courier service, which is the case]

...that's the problem with buying online or by telephone order...di mo nakikita yung product para sukatin....

it would best if you can send an email or call the seller first and tell him your head's circumference...

even though na general ang sizes shown regardless which brand is it...in reality minsan masikip or too loose for that measurement...i bought my agv gp pro on xxl size..so naturally, xxl ang size ko...but when i had fitted an arai tour x,,,xxl is too loose for me kaya i had settled on buying th xl...tapos sa caberg naman large lang....

though my head is about 62cm...pero my 3 lids has different sizes.

maybe it has something to do with the padding....

if you would ask me...the best way to buy a lid is to go to the store[kung available sa pinas] and have your head check it..that way, di ka maabala na isauli..coz right then and there...humingi ka ng ibang size to make the "perfect" snug fit for you head.

besides hindi lang about having a snug fit ang habol natin...andun yung...minsan yung opening ng helmet eh too tight para maipasok mo yung ulo mo..andun din yung presentation ng helmet visor..pag suot suot mo nba yung lid..me mga model akong sinubukan in the past na super hitech ang dating pag titingnan mo sa labas yung helmet...tapos once na isinuot mo, mukang napakaliit ng peripheral vision na makikita from the inside ng lid

tapos andun yung bigat...me lids na 1.1kg lang me iba na 1.3-1.4kg...300gms makes a big difference

in case dumating yung lid mo, at di magkasya?or too loose.. anu arrangement from the seller? would they be willing to exchange it based on your assessment?...sino magbabayad ng shipping back to the seller?

kaya i do seldom make purchases online or by telephone order when it comes to lids...

what i said was based on experience....kung confident ka sa size na bibilhin mo..by all means go for it..though there is a minimal risk involve.

@Kamen Rider
i would advise that you buy your helmet from the store....so you can actually fit the helmet before you it....

in general, sizes should be the same, but because different brands have different designs, fit and comfort will vary.

just to site an example...my HJC CL14 size medium fits me perfectly, but my KBC TK77 medium is a little loose...still my KBC VR2 medium fits just like my HJC...

HTH...
