It is obvious that motorcycling has become the "in" thing, not only for politicians and stars, but specially for the "haute-couture". Last year, we've already seen a lot of designer brands showing motorcycle jackets as a fashion statement, but now they're going further.
Names such as Gucci, Chanel, Dior and DNKY etc are all coming out with "serious" motorcycle wear. The Chanel Motorcycle Boots pictured on your left has lambs wool inside, reinforced, and cost a meager 600 Euros (744 USD). But for that, you get a Chanel..... (over my dead body).
Seriously, apart from some stars that like to show themselves off on an occasional motorcycle, I can not see any real biker wearing haute-couture motorcycle gear. Can you imagine paying 600 Euros for a pair of boots, and you get some oil on them....
I know I ride a Ducati Motorcycle, but enough is enough !

We call that design 'Courier Boots'
I know that motorcycle couriers make loads'a dosh! For the mileage they do in rain, shine or snow the look on that boots won't last two weeks! Hein Gericke version for a 100 quids that last 5 years with 2 year warranty is a sensible option. But hey! with Chanel boots you get the badge! Which will cost you 500 euros...
What's next? A half stiched sheepskin one piece suit complete with fur? Wooohooooo! Star Boyz please form an orderly que!:D

as a woman, lady, or girl biker here . . . i wouldnt mind wearing designer bike apparels to look good & more attractive whenever i go to parties & events with my bike BUT for travelling out of town or just cruising around town i'd still stick with the ever safe & reliable dainese & alpine stars bike apparels :C
