I have an RX7RR4 helmet, but it's time to get rid of it and replace it. Looking to replace it with the corsair which is Arai's top of the line helmet.

http://www.araiamericas.com/Product_Tour.htm

I've had my helmet since Arai announced this surprise model(RX7RR4)
so i've had mine for 6+years. I will change mine in march or april because it's raining season and I don't want to buy a new helmet to use it in the winter and dirty it..

How much does the RX7 corsair cost in the Philippines?
also, what are the most popular barnds bought?
Any Arai Shoei's??
Thanks in advance.

I donno bro... I usually keep mine for like 1yr... then I replace it. Then again I don't buy $600 - $700 usd helmets either:O. I have a scorpion right now that I got for $140 + tax and will probably switch to the carbon fiber HJC next year.

the lifetime of a helmet is 4 to 5 years. there should be a date of production inside of the helmet indicating which month and year it was produced. from the date indicated that is where you start counting the years. helmet which have passed the 5 year mark is rendered unsafe to use based on shoei and arai. i believe shoei and arai are the only helmet manufacturers which gives a 5 year warranty on their helmets. hope this helps . . . correct me if i am wrong with these information . . .
