Kevlar is usually yellow-ish/golden in color and used as threading for different purposes, motorcycle gloves included. now, you may also be wondering about the knuckle protection that comes with the gloves at that price. at that rate, all the manufacturer does is have a plastic mold then put some carbon fiber-esque sticker/decal on the plastic then laminate the thing. it looks cool but I doubt if it's real reliable in the event of a mishap.
