Hi to All skilled bikers,

I don't have idea yet for the good tire of my 2nd hand Honda Dio 1 50cc scooter.

Can I solicit your good advice what is the diameter of my tire? Where can I buy a new tire? What brand is/are good?

Please help.

Bridgestone, Dunlop & IRC come into mind as they are by far the most popular brand of scooter tires for the Japanese scooter.

stock tire size of Dio1 is 3.00x10 but 80/90-10 or 90/90-10 should fit very nicly.

any idea how much and where to get dunlop tt91 80/90-10 and/or bridgestone hoop/bt39?which is better to use for front wheel?mileage?tnx!

sa pagkakaalam ko ang Dunlop TT91 90/90-10 nasa 1800 na retail ngayon mas mura ng konti pag mas maliit ang sukat, yung Bridgestone BT39 90/90-10 ang retail 1600 pero meron pa ako 4 sets ng goma na ito at ibinebenta ko na lang ng 1550 each kung pares ang bibilhin.

sa IRC karamihan ng tires nila nasa 500+ ang price yung mga tulad ng MB38, MB62 & MB72 pero yung MBR740RR (race) nasa 1350 ang retail pero available only in 3.00x10.

yung Hoop nasa 1200 yung retail nun last time i remember, all in all nasa sa iyo kung ano goma gusto mo para sa scooter mo. kung kaya ng budget mo mag BT39, TT91 o MBR740 ka pero kung pang daily commuter lang scooter mo pwede na yung mga MB62, MB72, MB38 or Hoop.

kung pang araw araw yung scooter mo, i dont suggest getting one of those high-end tires. kasi mabilis mapudpod. im using irc and it fits well to my riding style.

mataba siya for 90/90-10, ung irc jetty... 500+ lang bili ko... laki nga conti nalang ung clearance between the wheel tsaka ung engine cover...

aloy_g is right.. if you're using your scooter for daily commute, better get those irc rubbers. my scooter is almost used daily and im satisfied with the rubber's performance - handling and all. i installed 3.00x10 at the front and 90/90 at the rear. g'd luck.

anung brand gamit mo sa rear mo? kasi pinag compare namin ni dxtreme ung 90/90 -10 ko na irc jetty sa stock tire niya na 90/90 -10, bakit mas malaki yung jetty? samantalang pareho lang sila ng sukad diba?

kungsabagay hindi naman pudpurin ang gulong kapag nakalagay sa harap. bakit yung friend mo ba nakakapag endo? or stoppie ba tawag dun? yung front ko naka chen shin lang pero nadulas lang siya kapag basa yung road. pero ung irc jetty hindi pa naman ako sinesemplang eh, manipis na nga yung "chicken strips" niya eh.
