my PS2 kaso wow ang mahal almost $ 1,000 napapaisip tuloy ako.... pero its

worth to buy talaga lalo na pag may HDTV ka......hehehe

Sa pagkakaalam ko po ay mga around 30k or less sa atin yung ps3 20 gig version. Sana lang magkaron ulit ng modified version nito para makabawi naman tayo sa mga games!

Pero wala pa yata release dito sa pinas next year pa yata pero check ko dito sa area ko baka may naka display na...lufet talaga ng game console na ito pag meron dito sa lugar ko patusin ko na yung price na yan hehehe.

Tinanong ko rin sa Sony sa festival mall kung sabay ang release ng ps3 dito sa pinas ang sabi baka nga daw hindi. Pero sana naman wag magtagal. Gusto ko na kasi malaro yung bagong sequel ng Metal Gear guns of patriots!

i remember when the PS2 was released a few years back & it was on the news around the world when it showed the thousand of hardcore PS2 buyers lining & camping days in advance to be one of the first ones to get their hands on it. I was one of those who happened to be in Akihabara, Japan that moment the PS2 was released. The intensity & jitters in my stomach as the clocked ticked on to the last second when the doors of the shops opened midnight of the release date.

i think then the wait was worth it. But because of the initial cost of the PS3 is way too high, i personally think its not worth rushing to the stores to be one of the 1st to have it. This time, id rather wait for a modchip to come out so it can play pirated games. Anything above $500USD for a piece of video game system is already what i think is excess. So those who has money to burn, go ahead & buy it & brag that you paid $1000USD for it. I for one wont be envious but more of smirking. Then wait next XMas & get it for myself & will only pay less than half of the release price.
And if youre curious what i did with the PS2 that i got when i lined up in Japan to be one of the first ones to have it? I bought also an extra controller, a Memory Card, 3 released games & brought them all back here in the country & sold them all for DOUBLE the price i got it for.... :nuts:

i'll wait for a compelling game to get me to buy one...

Hindi naman siguro aabot ng 1000USD ang ps3 kasi sa official website nila ang nakalagay don ay 500USD more or less depending on the capacity of it's hard disk and version of the ps3.

Yun nga rin ang wish ko. Sa power ng PS3 parang sobrang complicated na nya pero sana may maghimala at makagawa ng modchip nito para makalaro ulit tayo ng pirated games ng ps3:banana:

Labas na pala sa japan ang ps3 nung nov. 11 limited nga lang kaya madaling naubos. mas mura pa sa kanila mga aroung 430USD lang sa japan samantalang sa US 499USD.

medyo mahirap atang mapirate ang ps3 kasi ang cd niya, blueray diba? di siya normal na dvd lang na mabibili sa tabi tabi..sony lang ang nagbebenta ata nun..mahihirapan gumawa ng piratang cd..

I was all geared and hyped up on getting the PS3 on launch day on Nov.19. But the Nintendo Wii caught my attention and have swayed me on getting the PS3.

The PS3 is pretty much the same with the Xbox360.

With Nintendo Wii and its so called Wii-remote, gaming will be totally different and innovative. I like. :)

AFAIK yung 60 gig po yung $600 at yung $499 yung 20gig. Ang pinagkaiba po nung 20 sa 60 eh yung 60 may mas madaming slot na pwedeng paglagyan ng mga sd card, memory stick etc..

Yun nga din po ang iniisip ko kung possible pa rin imodify ang ps3 para makapagplay ng pirated games. Talagang masakit sa bulsa pag orig na titles ang binili kasi bagong technology ang gamit ng ps3 ngayon lufeet pati ng graphics parang photo realistc!

yup games probably will cost $60 just like xbox360 games. pero worth every dollar naman for me. pirated ewan ko lang kung magkakaron kc sa xbox360 eh wala parin yata pirated hangang ngyon. plus i'm not a big fan of pirated cd's because most of them don't work properly or only works for short period of time.

Yung unang labas ng PS2 console tulad ng sa akin kahit pirated pwede pero ngayon yung slim type na PS2 kailangan pa e-modify para lang pede ang pirated.

Pag lumabas yang PS3 sa black market sure thing marami mapirata diyan games as well as the console itself clone agad ng china yan.

Magkano kaya pag pinarentahan ang ps3? kasi dati nung wala pa akong ps2 nagrerent lang ako for 30/hr. Ang ps3 kaya?

Next month pa daw ang release dito sa M.E. tagal naman :rolleyes:
