Mga sir at madam!

Just wanted to ask your expert opinion on this particular brand and model. I just saw this on display at the EMC Kamagong showroom.. looks unique and cool in its black color. i don't know if it is the liquid cooled version though.

From what I know, Italjet company went under a few years back, and news had it that Kinetic of India bought the rights to manufacture 7 italjet models (including the Formula and Dragster) in its India plant.

Thus my considerations are:

1. is the price worth it? ( judging from the italian marquee it must be high)
2. are spare parts and trained technicians/mechanics available?
3. how will it fare in the daily rigors of metro manila roads and hazards - in other words - matibay ba or prone to breakdown ( since it has a lot of plastic and exotic parts)

I plan to keep the bike stock, especially the engine, carb, exhaust and transmission areas in order to maximize its life.

Your kind and expert comments are very much welcome!

God bless and ride safe!

the one that you saw at emc is air cooled.

i dont know about the price but i got my formula 50 liquid cooled for 120k sa Access plus pa. as for parts you can get them but its not like you can get it from any other store. at kung sa tibay, i had mine since year 2000 i still use it today. my 50cc already been to baguio and as far as Boracay. What i like with the formula is the flat bed or yung sa tapakan, a lot of space to put any cargo. my formula 50 is stock but my fastest speed that i reached was 105 kph.

@Sir Jetzone

Yes, I think Brand New unit yung display sa EMC :=) Black color.

@Sir Sharky

Thank you for sharing your experience with your Formula 50 . 6 years and still in excellent sports condition says a lot about the positive quality aspect of this scooter. Great investment I should say.

What I liked a lot at first glance was the front mono, which i believe is shared by only a few scooters and big bikes- sets it apart immediately. I also agree with the flat bed feature - would make hauling groceries or my little kid a breeze.

Stock at 105 kph for a 50 cc --- great to keep it stock! Thanks again!

This Italjet topic might be OT since i accidentally started it in the Piaggio section. Kindly move to the appropriate section if needed. Thanks!
