I just want to share my experience about sa index helmet. Bumili ako ng 903 series yung blue. ginamit ko na ito the next day, sobrang bigat nya at sobrang stress binigay nya sa ulo ko at leeg. kaya nung hapon sinoli ko na rin ito agad at pinalitan ko sya ng 411 series pero index pa rin here's tha pics.... kaya sa bibili ng helmet isipin nyo munang mabuti kung kaya ng ulo nyo yung sobrang bibigat na helmet. I got the 411-23 model medium size swak na swak sa ulo ko. Yung 903 yung color blue, yung 411 yung may flag ng America.

para sakin mas ok ang 903 model ng index..kasi mas modelo yun at mas maganda ang design..mas malaki rin ito kesa sa 411..

Mga sirs, OT lang po. Saang shop po ba nakaka bili ng original na index helmet? Meron din po ba yang official website at official distributor dito sa Metro Manila?

sir, mas ok sana yung 903 kesa 411, normal lang na mabigat ang full-face helmet depende sa model o brand, sa unang suot pero madali lng maksanayan, pero gaya po ng sabi nyo, mas ok din kung saan kayo comfortable basta safe pa rin. Tulad po ng Index ko dati, nung nagpalit ako ng hjc, mas mabigat sya kesa sa Index pero the next time na gamitin ko parang yung Index ko na rin.

try to visit different shops and check different helmets also. sa dami ng helmets ngayon, am sure you'll enjoy checking them before you buy one. maraming klase, maraming brands. for a recomendable helmet, get the best your money can buy. normally, ang mga magagandang helmet & DOT/SNELL certifieds range from P1,500 thru P6,000 (average). you can get an acceptably good helmet at a practical price even between P1.5-P2.5, ok na yun for starters like INDEX, CARTING & LEV3...

don't limit yourself to INDEX lang. maraming mapagpipilian which will best suit your preference...

helmets made from ABS plastic are usually lighter than helmets using composite materials just like the ones used by top end brands. composite materials may be heavier but are more better than plastic shells....

I already contacted Ms Gigi. I also visited her shop. So far, ang nagustuhan ko yung Index 803. Mukhang mabigat nga lang at medyo bulky.

yipee!! nakabili na ako ng helmet ko hehehe!! i got the Index 911... la lang.. masaya lang ako kasi first helmet ko to na at least eh DOT-certified :D

903 is P1,800-P1,900 only.

why not try Spyder helmets mas magaan sya.

Bro, ok lang din naman ang index. As for concerns regarding it's safety, DOT certified ang index so i suppose it should have passed the minimum required safety and quality checks. Again, like what they said, preference lang yan. Baka nagdududa ka lang kasi mas mura siya compared to other brands? Marami rin kasing reasons for the steep prices of the other helmets. But as for Index, marami na rin sigurong makapag-attest to its safety...

based from their website, they are DOT certified. I can attest it is safety and matibay sya, kasi I have been in 2 accidents na and i used my 411 index helmet and it really safeguarded my nuts.

hindi ko din alam kung bakit may mga ibang rider/club pinagtatawanan or minamaliit nila ang index helmet, kesyo mura ba ito?

I can attest to the index's reliability half face lang before ung helmet ko but i once saved my life from a nasty accident just dont forget to fasten it on also always ride defensively you'll never know kung kelan dating aksidente keep ridin, ride safe!!!

sir i prepared to buy index nag canvass ako yesterday sa caloocan along the highway, kaya lang ang daming index, may 1000/1100/1300 nung tanungin ko yung tindera may fiber, plastic alin ba talaga ang maganda.
