hello everyone, this is Frank Yang from Loncin China, I just want to get some motorcycle information but fortunately I found a Loncin website here, and happy to know that many people here like Loncin motorcycle, hope you have had a good experience with our motorcycles.

I am the one in Loncin to offer Loncin motorcycle to Granstar, Granstar is Loncin brand sole distributor in Philippines, so I hope the people here can give me some information of our motorcycle, such as any quality problem, I need to know what model is not good then I can ask our factory to settle the problem in future production.

I can just read English, I am Chinese.

Anyway, happy to know this website here!

Good day sir frank!

I am a loncin cruiser 150cc owner and pretty much impresed of its performance since I bought it a year ago. it's good to hear that you and your company is willing to do some feedbacks about your products. it is one of the most important thing that you can do for us (End users). i just want to say (No Offense) that can you ask your distributors here in the philippines to sell spareparts in reasonable prices. it is because of the many experiences of buying spareparts that i have, like rear break pads, clutch cables etc, which is very expensive being sold here. but it is good to know that some other spareparts like honda is compatible with our bikes(Loncin). sad thing to say is that honda spareparts compatible to loncin brands are very much cheaper compared to the ones sold by your distributor(Grandstar) like a rear breakpad sold by granstar cost us around 450-500 pesos but a Honda LX125 rear break pads which is compatible to loncin cruiser 150cc cost us for only 70 pesos. i do hope that you and your good company can do something about this. regards and more power.

Dear Frank,

It is very nice to have a person like you in this forum.

I have a 2005 Loncin Cyclone 200. I have had a few problems with it. The bolts that holds the right side exhaust has broken three times. It's very bothersome. The plastic fairing has some cracks here and there. The plastic is a bit too thin.

Except from that I'm very satisfied with my Loncin. :L

I would like to know if the cyclone is compatible with any Japanese spareparts. Loncin spareparts are not easy to get where I live.

nin hao Taren Frank;
I bought one of your product, a Loncin Terminator 200 cc last 12 October 2005.
It is a good motorcycle, it has all the features of a japenese, american, german and other brands of motorcycle, special of which is its center stand that functions like a jack which is very practical because the motorcycle is very heavy.
Noticeably, the vibration up to now is still there, specially when it reach the speed of 70kph. However, the speed does not reach 100kph or more, Wo bu xidao shirfu, wei sha ma?
But I am really very proud of my motorcycle.
another thing, the bolts are not tight enough after coming from the assembly factory, there are many bolts that fell down during my break-in, it nearly cost my life when the bolt connecting the clutch rod fell down and I was going down from the top of a flyover at 60 kph, very dangerous sir Frank.
another one , is the wheel is too slippery when the road is wet, even on thin sands on the road, the break at the rear wheel is weak.
the alignment of the rear fender to the chassis of my bike is not off center, I still have to place a lot of nuts to compensate for the alignment of the rear fender.
the cover of the front shocks makes a lot of noise, that is why I removed them, they are useless, sir Frank.
the air inlet of the rim is not practically placed, not accessible to air gauge, it should be placed at a point where there are more space to move.
On the other hand, the design, the feautres and shape of the terminator 200cc is already very good.
Is there a way or can you facilitate to change or replace our motorbike if it has a factory defect, just like my bike. Kayi ma shirfu?
We will be waiting for your reply tongzhimen. CHUNGUO REN, FEILUPEN REN PANGYOMEN, HAO BU HAO? CHUNGUO HEN HAO...   :L WO AI CHUNGUO!!! :L

hi sir frank im an owner of cyclone 200, thanks for having time in listening with our feedback on yor brand. here,s my concern regarding the motorcycle like other say i have experience a very disturbing vibration with the flarings even though i tight all the knots. dirt is coming in inside under the sit coming from the splash of water when raining. yes the torque sometimes has less power specialy on a hot day or even when the engine is running for more than 3 hours, i notice the difference when i run it less than 1 hour it run as much as 130 kph. by that time it is on stock. when i modify the exhaust hoping it would increse the power and torque to my dismay it cant reach 100 kph specialy when you shift on the fifth gear it is loosing power and speed, so i returne the original exhaust pipes, i hope you wont get ofended coz its a trend here in the philipines to pimp the motorcycle at top performance. yet overall the bike meet my expectation. yet still when in times of hard work i still rely on my honda. specialy in long drive.hope you could have supply more of your brang specialy on compatibility of oil that. i just notice performance is good when i use castrol, but when i used mineral oil the engine is too hot you could almost feel the evaporation beneath your manhood.

gud day sir Frank:

Is the quality of the Loncin motorcyCLes being distributed to asian countries most specially here in the Philippines lesser than the quality of the bikes you are distributing to U.S.A, UK, european countries and middle east countries? If so why?
I am surprised just recently when I had my terminator 200 cc registered in the Land Transportation Office, my bike did not pass the emission test, you know that kind of smoke emission machine where they place something inside the pipe and have the bike engine run on neutral gear, I just bought my bike last 12 October 2005. why is it so?

For info I just change my pipe into an open pipe, still the same problem, it can not reach more than 80 kph and its vibration is very strong at this level of speed.

Sir Frank, is there any possibility that the vibration on terminator 200 cc can be eliminated.

On the other hand, are you going to manufacture/design a cruiser bike with a 250cc or 400 cc displacement, much better than the terminator? at a cheaper price? :) :L

SIR FRANK YANG;

WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO REPLY ON OUR QUESTIONS AND GIVE US PRACTICAL ADVISES ON HOW TO DEVELOP TAKE CARE OF OUR MOST PRICED MOTORBIKES FOR OUR SAFETY AND FOR OUR SATISFACTION AND ALSO FOR OTHERS TO SEE THAT LONCIN IS, IF NOT BETTER THAN ANY BRANDS COULD BE AT PAR IN TERMS OF QUALITY, DURABILITY, SAFETY, DEPENDABILITY, AND ECONOMICALLY IN TERMS OF PARTS AND GASOLINE?
WE WILL BE WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY SIR FRANK.

JUST IN CASE YOU WANT TO CONTACT ME ON A MORE PERSONAL AND FRIENDLY ATHMOSPHERE, MY EMAIL ACCOUNT IS tj7962@yahoo.com, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME ANYTIME.

MORE POWER TO YOU AND TO YOUR COMPANY, MAY YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN ALL YOUR ENDEAVORS.

Hello Frank-Loncin;

Thanks for posting here and initiating a Feedback System for Loncin Bike Users.

I myself have a Loncin Cyclone 200. I will not give any feedback anymore since eirrag has mentioned comprehensively similar concerns with his bike. I have the same problems with my bike but it serves my needs well.

We know you mentioned the reason for this Feedback system is to improve on the future designs of Loncin bikes. We appreciate your effort to provide better bikes here in the philippines. May we suggest that you initiate a RECALL of all your bikes (though this may cost the company) to correct the problems mentioned here. This initiative can be look at as a sincere interest on the Loncin management to generate goodwill to their loyal clients. Thus promoting the image of Loncin Co. as not another company geared on flooding the market (and shortterm income) with lowend cheap bikes but building strong relationships with its clients by providing highend products backup by quality service. We know you have the capacity to influence the management since as you said you are "the one" responsible for the existence of Loncin in our market. We hope the Loncin mgt. focuses on a longterm relationship with their clients.

You may also tap our motorcycle club in providing you promotional services via company-sponsored rides.

We await your response.:)

Hi Frank,

Just putting in my 2 cents worth.
I have the terminator 200. The cruiser with the jaguar. It does not seem to be on the website (at leasts not with the 200cc engine)

The biggest problem I have with the bike is the assembly of it. I have a feeling its done locally. I have had a host of screws fall off and if not that, rust solid on me. Also simple things like the stock bulbs going out within a few months, cut and shredded electrical wires, and some plastic parts breaking (directly related to bad assembly). This is also the thing that makes china made bikes be labelled as of 'poor quality'. If you would like to improve something - start with the simple things (maybe a memo to granstar?)

Thanks for dropping by!

any plans of coming out with a 400-650cc or something like the ural (single no sidecar?)

gud day sir kambungo, good to here from you about your advice its true they are good and quality now a days. in fact i have other bike you mention and used to have before.yet i too experience difficulties with each brand. before japanese bikes are not as good as today . still there still there are some that have factory defect right, give loncin room for improvement, now a days you hardly cant set aside china bikes even some brand have factory in china even some manufacturer of autos they prefer china and even you go other parts of the world youl be surprise we are being invaded by china. at least they can produce their own. mas maganda siguro kung made in the phillipines. nga lang wala eh. buti pa china.at indonesia (bajaj)

Hi Frank,
I got a second hand Loncin 110. THe 1st owner did some modification on the bike. I should say its kinda nice. But my problem is, that its only a 3yr old bike. The transmission alredy broke down. I love this bike so much. Its my 1st. Why won't it last like Jap-made bikes?

Sir Frank,

i may not owned one of your products, but i'm very mauch interested on the spare parts and that were used. i heared that dealers don't sell parts if it is not intended for their products. Hope this isn't true....

Frank hi i am Z200R we tune and produce high performance chinese bikes for public consumption and would love to speak to you in person. We are developing a wide range of performance modifications for all variants of the chinese 150-250cc engines. Our research and development has produced valuable data on whats duarable and not durable on these and other bikes.
We are aware of the dual exhaust SOHC (single overhead cam) of this bike and we are currently doing reasearch on one right now. we are dealing with Granstar of Mandaluyong. They are providing us with all the right parts we need to help us with our research. We have plans on unveiling a HIGH PERFORMANCE Loncin Cyclone in the future and its designed to outrun many smaller bikes as we have done with project Z200R.

IM me for further developments and we can get started. Thanks sir for your help.

EVERYONE ELSE here is welcome to watch things unfold for these chinese bikes: They are a hell of a deal for the money and they can perform as well if not better than Japanese bikes of which i personally own both.

Hi Frank... I'm an owner of the Loncin Extreme 110, I'ver personally dis mantle the bike, nice to see that most parts are "Tempered steel" its get tougher when time passes by.. Iron gets stronger as it aged while lubricated with oil.. unlike some china bikes that have alluminum gears...

The only thing I find hard, is parts.. they dont ussually seel upgrades, so I had to fabricate or use compatible parts from other bikes...

I had my 110 rebored to 135cc, big valves, fabricated friction plates, and I did the fiberglass myself to improve aesthetics..

if parts are not available, could you post which bike parts we can use...
