This vest is for personal cooling. It is a “controlled temperature” vest. That means, once energized, it stays at its preset temperature long enough for you to race in comfort. Acting as a heat sink, the optimum temperature of our 55F degree cool race vest quickly absorbs your body’s thermal overload, allowing you to focus on racing.
The metabolism of your body creates heat. Our vest absorbs the excess heat that is trapped when wearing leather or NOMEX® suit! That unbearable heat increases the stresses placed on your body’s vitals when trying to attain and maintain thermal regulation.
