View Full Version : Are there any G-Max Accessories shops?
Ungas October 24th, 2006, 12:18 AM I'm looking for some parts and most of the shops I have asked around doesn't carry G-Max accessories. MPI might not bring in aftermarket parts since they should promote OEM parts for their branded scooters. I'm not into radical modifications, just some needed parts that PGO failed to attend to. And a little customized look to differ my scooter from the rest of G-Max scooters.
Any ideas will be appreciated. Found a website that carries aftermarket parts, but it seems that my email was not read. No replies since a week ago.

Ungas October 24th, 2006, 10:46 PM Any feedback on their items? Will they ship items via Fedex or DHL? It's been 10 days and counting... I have already forwarded the same message, hoping for their reply.
I guess not everyone from MCP is familiar with G-Max accessories... :(

I would suggest you drop by hyper-rpm located at biglang awa Caloocan. The owner is taiwanese he can give you or bring in aftermarket parts for your PGO. Also, He can set up your PGO scoot very honestman he will not recommend anything that will not work on your scoot. Kaya lang medyo expensive parts sa kanya pero sulit
Ungas October 25th, 2006, 08:06 AM jetzone::: True, most of their parts are for 125/150cc, exact displacement released here locally.
reekee98::: Sir, do you have hyper-rpm's exact address? I would want to ask them if they have the parts or import the needed parts. Nothing's better if I can actually see the product upclose.

So far so good, only Hyper-Rpm has some parts that's on my wishlist. I've asked around some shop in Caloocan to no avail. Kahit na chromed bar ends lang wala daw stocks... poor me.

Hi Ungas,
May i have an idea what these parts are that PGO "failed to attend to?" Just curious since i also have a G-Max.
Thanks
Ungas November 21st, 2006, 11:30 PM They're just minor points but more on aesthetically mods. Some may even think that I'm a little "O-C" over things.
- rear fender fails to cover water/mud sprays when driving on puddles which cannot be avoided. Though there's an extra fender extender included, it doesn't match the scoot's overall aspect. [alternative option is to put a rear fender rack that's almost the same as Sym Jet's. Afaik, 4 vavled models have this as standard part.]
- beep horn too soft for cagers. [aftermarket horns]
- floor board oem rubber poor traction. Wet soles tend to slip. [alternative option, stainless metal floor boards with holes, better sole grip]
- soft rubber bar ends. [I still have yet to find an alloy or light steel to fit over it. An option is to try fitting bar ends from Raider]
- rear grab bar too low for pillion's grip. [additional spacers or aftermarket rear grab bars.]
Aftermarket accessories that I'm loking for:
- fork stabilizer
- rear led lamp set
- cnc engine hanger
- rear fender rack
john beri November 22nd, 2006, 07:01 AM Good to know they're part of aesthetic mods and not crucial to bike maintenance. Goes with the enjoyment of customizing one's ride.
When i get to know my bike better, perhaps i'll just be as OC.
Thanks for the comments.

re. sa bar ends sir. baka pwede naman pa-fabricate na lang? try na lang sa mga machine shop sa malapit sa location mo. just give them the design and the measurements, i'm sure kaya nila yan.
btw, san ba location mo sir? maybe i can fabricate one for you if you want.
pero mine is made of solid chromed steel. mabigat. the advantage some say is, it lessens/absorbs the vibration from the handle bars.
here's a sample. my joyride's bar ends.
Ungas November 23rd, 2006, 10:39 PM john beri::: Likewise my Gmax is only a couple of months old, and I'm still looking out for any bad traits that may arise.
wasted_23::: That's the chromed bar ends I've been looking for! Pwede kayang plain alum na dull color? Kala ko kasi madaling mabili over the counter. Sampaloc area po ako near UST. I know some machine shops near our place, let's just say that their quality ain't that a-ok. Please do fabricate a pair for me! I don't mind if they are heavy or light. Atleast I could compare them which is better for our rides. The problem is I'm curently out of town working and I'll be back in Manila probably end of this month.

It was a pleasure doing business withe wasted_23 at the same time bumping into reekee98 in his shop.
On the other hand, may nakita akong Gmax accessories store along Remegio St. in Sta. Cruz. Nagpaparating din ng DCR products. Although meron din siyang ibang accessories for other models/brands like JR's, GTS's, GD's & Jets.
