branded ones had proven their performance...but in my opinion, if a local tailor can make one that more or less offer the same protection...at a lesser cost...go for it....

siguro kung "jan-jan" lang pede na locally made, pero if your planning to use it during rides, i'd say go for the one with the complete safety armors.

subok na yung fox na parang pole position. one of our ridemates had tried and in fact used it in a spill. he was laughing minutes after. eventough one of the shoulder pads was really deeply torn.

i have nothing against the custom jacks, though i really prefer the branded ones. but im sure you will not like wearing the pole position in a mall or in a park.

there are some komine and rs taichi jacks which you can wear anywhere without looking awkward. full mesh, mesh with lining and now, this mesh with removable full weatherproof interior which i m eyeing right now. mine is definitely lighter with just the mesh and pads. though the nicer ones cost a bit more, of course.

and yes, try exceed and motoworld. hth
