just to give you an idea.....a brand new HJC CL14 costs from P4k-P4.5k.......this is also one of the coolest fullface helmets on the planet:)

bro, for that budget...you can get a brand new Zeus helmet from motoworld..may link sila dito sa MCP, but if you can get a good slightly-used HJC for that price, go for the HJC...

HJC CL-14.

Safe siya kasi it meets or exceeds DOT/SNELL certification. Mapoporma rin ang mga design. Ikaw na ang pumili ng graphics na gusto mo.

I think ito ay isa sa magaan na helmet at ang ganda ng ventilation compare sa older model ng HJC, para kapag maiinit ang panahon comfortable kang gumamit.

Affordable na ito kung i compare sa high end na helmet na tinatawag pero hindi ito matatalo sa magagandang features at safety design.

for 2k pesos get a zeus 803 helmet at exceed for 1.8k only, ganda ng fitting at ok naman be it short or long rides... if you want more style try index helmets @ 1.7k ata... havent tried one though... if you want a modular you can get afm-3 fulmer @ exceed for 2.4k ewan ko lang sa dekka kung magkano

Magandang helmet yung original INDEX. Kahit iwan mo sa carpark na naka-kandado lang, hindi nanakawin at pagiinteresan yan. DOT certified na yon at mura pa aside from maraming models at visors. Ang isipin mo, every 2years, whether seldom use or frequently, kelangan mong palitan yan. Maganda rin naman ang quality niya, mejo mabigat at mainit nga lang, nyahahahaha........ :D

HJC CS12 is DOT/SNELL which will cost you around P3,000 at JT. I bought mine last week coz my CL12 was stolen. BTW, discounted price yan. P3,800 original price.

i guess all brands which are recommended by few of our friends here are quite okey. but in my case, have you tried/ or have you heard about Carting helmet? they look great, dot approved, astig ang design sila lang nakikita ko na carbon designed (uso ngayon) and washable ang foam sa loob. you can get it at callocan at around 1800 or more... but in the mall i think tobys is carrying those but a bit higher mall kasi eh... try mo lang yun ang affordable at okey pa..

basta when buying a helmet, always fit it...i feel niyo maiigi, snug fit dapat... di masyado masikip, di rin masyado maluwag...then feel also the quality... pag tipong di pulido and pakiramdam mo mabibiyak at di protecktado ang ulo mo pag humampas ang ulo mo sa simento...wag mo bilihin!... parang asawa yan eh...pinakikiramdaman or nireresearch bago pakasalan! hehehehe... take note!...madami sa market ngayon, na naglalagay ng DOT sticker sa helmet which hindi naman talaga certified... so better go for those SNELL and ECE...DOT certification are the most linient certification when safety comes... IMHO lang po. HTH

DOT hindi siya kasama sa coating ng buong helmet...and wag kayo maniwala na carbon fiber yun!...pintura lang yun...i prefer index than this carting helmet... pasintabi lang po sa may carting helmet....:s
