Two-time MX World Champ Fred Bolley has signed with Aprilia to race World FIM Supermoto series in 2004. It's not determined yet if he will contest the S1 or the S2 class.
Aprilia was supposed to contest the final FIM World Championship round this weekend in Benidorm, Spain but the factory has decided to skip the trip and get ready instead with a two-rider team for the Bolognas Motor Show the next week. Reigning 250cc road racing World Champion Manuel Poggiali and 125cc road racing Vice-Champion Alex de Angelis will ride the new V-twin Aprilia SXV 4.5 in Italy.
