In the 80's when they had the Camel motocross in Roxas Blvd, I was practicing on a Yamaha 250 when I overcooked a jump and landed on my head. First thing I did was reach for the kill switch, sayang yung gas. Butch Chase was there and he said "I've seen you practicing the whole day." I though he was going to offer me a contingency ride for his team, instead he told me to just stop and rest for a while. Ngek!

My head is not tough, helmet was cheap, hence the crack. or was it the other way around?

Teknics in Pinas only P20k. That's cheap! Get in touch with Jake, he is the distributor. Concussion, most probably, but I was having too much fun to notice it. I did feel sick and vision blurred but that's not gonna stop me. I even rode the bike all the way to Q.C. When I got home, I couldn't take my socks off, it was sticking to my toes with dried blood on it. I hit a rock during practice and took my kuko out.

I smashed my Arai FV with my head in it, left side.. The lid was totalled! My head stayed intact.. (dunno about that soft bits inside my skull though). The world suddenly went on a merry-go-round. If I was wearing my my ROOF Boxer lid with a flip up front I wouldn't have a chin by now.. :)
