if price is no object then get the ALTER EGO model from Joe Rocket. Its an 04 model and its THE best all season jacket from their line. its SRP is approx Php15T.

i saw that model but, unfortunately, price is also a consideration of mine. i'm not scrimping down on safety but i guess more affordable models will work just as fine. thanks for the suggestions though.:)

The Phoenix will work great here in the Philippines since it is a mesh type and I can asure you that it is really cool. One downside to it, though: Haven't ridden in the rain yet but I am sure you'll get really soaked with the Phoenix. Well, most of us don't ride in the rain anyway!:D

If you go for simplicity but functional, go for the Meteor 4.0.:)

Try Fieldsheer brand which you can order from Julian Goitia whose shop's contact details are somewhere in the shop links in this site.

Another cheaper but still good alternative is Komine products which Ryan have. His shop is at Action Hobbies located in Petron Gas Station along Edsa in Greenhills.

i decided to get a komine jacket from ryan. it's a great jacket. it has 2 removable layers for rain and cold. has good armor and reflectors.

looks like the cold weather is starting to kick in already. ive been riding early mornings and late evenings. ang lamig! the jacket kept my upper body warm, but my office pants almost froze my legs.

i didn't get the joe rocket from caloocan sales anymore.

not with the phoenix 3.0, it has a removable zippered waterproof liner which can also be used as a separate jacket.
