View Full Version : what's the best joe rocket jacket? vsb November 20th, 2003, 06:27 AM hi! i'm getting a jacket from the US. so far, ballistic seems apt for out climate here. any other suggestions? thanks! rls November 20th, 2003, 06:58 AM Tip: Get a vented/mesh type for all around riding. spdfgtr November 20th, 2003, 09:13 AM vsb if price is no object then get the ALTER EGO model from Joe Rocket. Its an 04 model and its THE best all season jacket from their line. its SRP is approx Php15T. vsb November 20th, 2003, 04:03 PM i saw that model but, unfortunately, price is also a consideration of mine. i'm not scrimping down on safety but i guess more affordable models will work just as fine. thanks for the suggestions though.:) hammerhead November 20th, 2003, 04:49 PM http://www.motorcyclegearreview.com/products.php?catID=4&heading=Jackets&catname=Textile mikafajardo November 20th, 2003, 07:39 PM vsb, i am selling my jr ballistic that is water proof. you may call or text me at 0917-8445988. bong ron November 23rd, 2003, 08:48 PM how much, what size, and what color is your ballistic? ericsmedina November 29th, 2003, 07:36 PM The Phoenix will work great here in the Philippines since it is a mesh type and I can asure you that it is really cool. One downside to it, though: Haven't ridden in the rain yet but I am sure you'll get really soaked with the Phoenix. Well, most of us don't ride in the rain anyway!:D ricochet November 30th, 2003, 01:22 AM If you go for simplicity but functional, go for the Meteor 4.0.:) littlebadboy November 30th, 2003, 02:43 AM Try Fieldsheer brand which you can order from Julian Goitia whose shop's contact details are somewhere in the shop links in this site. Another cheaper but still good alternative is Komine products which Ryan have. His shop is at Action Hobbies located in Petron Gas Station along Edsa in Greenhills. Happy hunting. Cheers! vsb December 2nd, 2003, 10:26 AM i decided to get a komine jacket from ryan. it's a great jacket. it has 2 removable layers for rain and cold. has good armor and reflectors. looks like the cold weather is starting to kick in already. ive been riding early mornings and late evenings. ang lamig! the jacket kept my upper body warm, but my office pants almost froze my legs. i didn't get the joe rocket from caloocan sales anymore. thanks for the advise!! littlebadboy December 2nd, 2003, 10:53 AM Congrats vsb! How much did you get it for? vsb December 2nd, 2003, 11:01 AM thanks!!! 8,800.00 only it's black with silver parts. i feel protected. :D ryan December 3rd, 2003, 12:50 PM Hi vsb!
