Here are some of the lessons I've learned. If you want to share your life's lessons or react to mine...feel free! :s By now I'm sure you've had some discoveries and your fair share about life.

1. Always protect yourself from people who will take advantage of you in your moments of weakness.
2. Know your limitations, learn to say no and walk away
3. Loving someone means letting them go when they ask to be free
4. Commitment is not something that can be had upon demand
5. Chemistry is behind your ears: chemistry is perceived by the mind. Try to be more open...you'll never know what you may discover ;)
6. Love could not be turned off like a faucet.
7. Letting go of someone you love is letting go of all the attachments. It may take some time...but it can be done of course!
8. You can't rebreak an already broken heart
9. Feelings change, feelings lie...careful in making decisions based on feelings you might just regret itlater on...
10. Keep a rational and objective look at situations...don't take things personally. Some people are simply looking out for themselves.
11. Learn to forgive...it's easier for the heart and soul.
12. Happiness resides in the self...it shouldn't depend on external forces. You could CHOOSE to be happy in any circumstance.
13. Being alone is not bad...feeling lonely is also a choice.
14. Let go of a fantasy...they only cloud your judgement.
15. Life is a combination of good and bad. In any given situation, there will always be a good side of it and a bad one.
16. Stay away from married men! (Someone should tell them to stay away from me...please! hahahhaha! :O )
17. Promises can be broken so don't hold anyone to their promises...those are good only about 5 minutes after they've been said. (Some promises have an expiration date...until further notice. hahahaha! Trust me! Been there and done that. :D )
18. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Treat them as innocent...they might have a valid excuse for their awful behavior. (Ex: My dog ate my homework! Wala na bang iba??? :D )
19. Not everything is about you. Yep, yep, yep!
20. We don't need other people to give us closure...we can give it to ourselves then move on. (Snap out of it, Chinita! hahaha!;) )
21. Life is better experienced with the one you truly love.
22. The people who loved you and accepted you when you had nothing and when you were at your worst...are the people who REALLY loved you...stinky fart and all. :R
23. Life is about building character...you've got your entire lifetime to start building a good one. ;)
24. You can't force people to be mature. Some people do take their time to mature.
25. There's at least one person out there who loves you...so cheer up. ;)

I learned a lot in life.. Mistakes are the best teacher.. But sometimes I commit the same mistake again and again especially when it comes to that crazy thing called "love".. Once inloved, you forget all the lessons learned...

Ms Chinita.. I like your #16, "stay away from married man".. I'm single ma'am, just to let you know heheheh..:L (puwede na siguro)..:O

Don't hesitate to say "I love you" and "I'm sorry" ...

Hmmmm...another lessons...

- ....that I really am not that cynical ( but now I promise I will be a complete cynic ), that my belief that human beings are innately good overcomes the cynic in me.

- People can be very judgemental... and even if they judge me... I DONT REALLY MIND.

- no matter what good things you have done, that one stupid mistake you've done will haunt you forever. it's just that one mistake, you're out.

- no matter what other people say, as long as you know who you really are, far from what they think you are then there is nothing to worry. Life is fair enough to vindicate those who deserve vindication.

- no one can ever question the real you, most especially if they dont know the real you. not because you did something wrong does it make you untrue. If people choose to believe I am the person they perceive me to be, I, Again, DONT CARE. :)

- It is better to lose a lover than to love a loser.

- If you know you are true, you are not afraid of getting hurt, you wont mind what other people will say and it wont affect you a bit coz I always believed that in the end, it will all be between me and my God, not me and anyone else.

- I am a person who is capable of loving, and I deserve to be loved in return yet life is good not to let me experience the pain of being with someone who couldn't care less. I better be alone than be with someone who will forever make me wonder where he, who he is with and what he is doing. Life is indeed fair.

- Ang tunay na kaibigan, makikilala mo sa oras ng kagipitan. Very self-explanatory. Am glad I've got friends who simply dont kiss my a**, They are true friends. They know how to listen. They tell me what I need to know yet they respect decisions I make. They are there to catch me when I fall and they push me when I feel like giving up. They think outside the box. They were never judgemental. They sincerely love me and I love them as well. I can never be thankful enough that I have them in my life...

They will never be contented they will always ask for more.
(ask for more money , ask for more discount, ask for more favor......)
They will even be mad dahil hindi sila napag bigyan.

To keep away from selfish, self-centered individuals.

-Wake up glad and end your day happy.

-Godliness with contentment is great gain.

It's true. But sometimes, we ought to make the same mistakes again and again...and never learn at all. :o

We are all entitled to one mistake.. to commit the same mistake is foolish..:evil:

-- If it doesn't work the first time, don't push it. It'll eventually happen when you least expect it, and oftentimes, it turns out to be better than expected. Patience, patience, patience. Hmmmm...:rolleyes:

-- Good guys are hard to find. So don't bother. Soon enough, it's them who'll find you. Really. Eerrrrr! :evil:

--When you set your mind to something, and you want it bad, you'll get it. Yes, you will, with focus and determination. Self-fulfilling prophecy works!

That's the only thing we can do sis...be the best the we can be...;)
