If compatibility.... YES. My skin color is pretty much compatible with my blue/red combination in black background helmet. Its a matter of color combination with your complexion.

If comfortability... YES. I feel more comfortable since I know I am safe with my gear.

Racers without helmet regardless of race type (exept computer games).... they are sure to be STUPID.

Other bikers not comfortable with helmet? I think they just don't think about their safety.

mas comfortable ako ng naka helmet kasi alam ko na safe ako papunta at pabalik sa pupuntahan ko.

ako hindi sa pagmamayabang worth 28,000pesos yong helmet ko kasi ganon ka importante yong worth ng ulo ko at naghhintay sa pag uwi ko ang mga mahal sa buhay ko. kung sa tingin nyo walang worth ang ulo nyo eh di magpasukat na kayo ng kabaong nyo para atleast alam mo purma ng kabaong mo.

i am very much comfortable with all the helmets i'm currently using and those that i've used in the past...i make sure of it before i bought them....comfort, reliability & looks usually are found with branded helmets.

i guess some people are not comfortable wearing their helmet is due to the following reason: (which are usually common to generic or immitation helmets)
1. the helmet is too big or too small...only one size available.
2. air vents do not function properly.
3. pheriperal vision is obstructed.
4. material used for comfort liner is really Not comfortable

Helmet pa rin. Para pogi pa rin ako kahit lasog-lasog na katawan ko. :-D

Kidding aside, ewan ko kung bakit pero.... mas mukhang mayabang ang rider pag walang helmet. Para sa akin, tumtaas and angas factor ng rider pag walang helmet. 'Ke naka-scooter ka o bigbike, pareho lang yun. Pag ganoon ang aura mo, mas kakainisan ka. Patay ka kung ang nainis sa iyo ay nakakotse at lasing....

Kaya ako? Helmet ako lagi. Mahirap na, baka maisahan ako ni kamatayan ng walang kalaban-laban.

compatible is subjective. you can always choose a helmet brand and color that can match your head.

hard-headed riders not wearing helmets are not supermen. their craniums are softer than pavement still. krytonite is fictional. potholes are real.

accident is accident. happens near, far, everywhere, and it will hurt just differently. will cost one more than a rated lid.

Any proper motorcycle helmet should be fine. I honestly am not comfortable without a helmet. The wind in your hair kinda reminds you how vulnerable you are. Anyone who has driven a cage and experienced a pebble hitting and cracking the car's windshield would attest that anything on the road can be a projectile with your name on it.

Sa akin comfortable ako sa helmet and it's for my own protection and masarap isipin na makakauwi ka sa mga mahal mo sa buhay na buo pa ulo mo. Naaksidente ako once and I'm grateful that I wore my helmet that time and helmet really protected my head in hitting the pavement face first. Helmet ko ang nagasgasan hindi ang face ko. Wear your helmet always. Peace

ive been in an accident b4 xjr400 running 110 sinalpok ksa poste ng meralco in marilao bulacan 3 buto ksa palad nd collar bone nabali,ulo ko nbutas halos mpiga na damit ksa dami ng dugo kya ngayn fully gear nko khit mlapit lng kc mlapit lng dn smin ng nbangga ako.try post pic ko.dat was 13mos ago pra mdala yng mkakakita!
nd also wearing dpat yng snell ng dot approve kc strong impact useless ang helmet yn plastic pa nun tutusok sa ulo mo!

Para sakin mas comfortable ako pag nakasuot ang helmet sa ulo ko. :clap: :D :clap:

IMHO, the primary considerations for wearing a helmet should be protection & safety. these can never be compromised as not having them could cost us our lives or limbs (in this case, our heads). i am sure, 'yung mga fellow MCP forumers natin na na-aksidente na, would attest to this.

kahit nga sa pagbibisikleta, mahalaga ang helmet. i have friends that were saved from serious injury by their helmets & their other protective gears (e.g. knee & shin guard, elbow & forearm protector) while downhill/trail biking. ako din, ilang beses na akong sumemplang sa bisikleta at nagpagulong-gulong sa semento. pero dahil me helmet ako, gasgas lang sa braso at legs ang inabot ko.

i believe comfort is a little price to pay for protection & safety. pero comfort, kasi is achievable. you just need to choose your helmet properly.

sa totoo lang, malalaman mo lang kasi ang value ng helmet pag naka-experience ka na/may kakilala kang naka-experience na ng malufet na fall. ako naka-experience na... two times... yung una la ako helmet -- bukod sa tocino sa arm at leg, may black eye at gasgas din sa mukha pare!:D yung next, buti nalang naka-helmet ako. since then, ayoko na ulit maaksidente. bago na kasi helmet ko eh! hehehe...

pero bottom line... dapat parati naka-helmet... kasi you'll never know... :D

My wife bought a Jet Black R.Evolution modular helmet for me to go with my RED RedFox body armor and RED gloves. Unforutnately, medyo malaki akong tao ... both in tangkad and lapad (ehem) ... so I've been called SpiderMan around 3 times while passing by sa palengke nang Zapote sa Las Pinas ... buti na lang medyo makapal ang apog ko. hehehehehe.

I have been in a minor accident in makati. Minor kasi right knee injury lang ... my helmet save my head and right eye when it hit the pavement.

Hindi lang 2 dosenang insekto ang nadisgrasya nang helmet ko. Lalu na mga bangaw ... as in parang pinukol sakin mga maliliit na bato pag nabanga sila sa helmet ko. Tapos one time ... medyo naligo ako sa putik dahil sa me kasabay akong taxi na walang pakundangan sa daan.

When i bought my mc last oct. 2005, i also bought a cap type helmet for 500 pesos. I was not comfortable with it because it was not giving me any safety in regards to my head. So i bought a modular helmet that fitted well...it took me 4 months in getting used to it(mabigat sa ulo). I've been riding daily since then and stopped using my cage, kaya nasanay din ako sa helmet.

I never go out w/ my mc without wearing a helmet. Kung less than 1 km ang pupuntahan ko, i use the cap type and never go more than 30 kph(naka secure din ang chin strap).

dati i feel uncomfortable, kasi i ride a small scooter, tapos ang laki kong tao, tapos naka helmet. until i got into an accident. i learned it the hard way.

Before nung sinuot ko helmet ko, hindi ako sanay. But now, riding my scoot is not complete without my helmet. it's the other way around na, hindi na ko sanay mag scoot ng walang helmet, parang kulang ang ulo ko, parang walang bigat or laman na utak!! hehehe!!

Mas japorms pag naka helmet, mukhang prestige at hindi mukhang pipityugin lang. Dati akong cyclist at ang helmet na gamit namin ay sa ulo lng talaga at it really save lives kahit ganun lang. Isipin nyo, maraming namamatay sa bisekleta lang (pagkasemplang pa lang) motor pa kaya? Isa pa ako sa nakakita non diyan sa Macapagal, nagkarera yung ibang cyclist, tapos sumemplang yung isang walang helmet, nabagok ulo, patay!

Ako naman, dami na rin semplang (cyclist time), pero di grabe, puro tinatamaan lang yung baba ko dahil wala namang full helmet na pang bike, hehehehe...... pero, yung ulo ko safe at yung helmet ko lang ang nasisira.

Ngayon, riders nako, kaya, talagang priority ko ang safety kahit mainit pa.

Do you mean comfortable?!:? If you are talking comfortability and comparing it to wearing none, there is just no comparison. You should compare how the different type of helmets and brands fit.

Lets remember, we wear gears not for comfort but for safety and nothin more. Not to mention, this gears that we wear, like race suits or jackets and helmets are designed to be worn tightly o should i say with a snug fit not loose or else, it defies its purpose to protect the user.

But at the end of it all, it only takes a little getting used to it. Sabi nga nila, better sweat than bleed. You wear it to increase your chance of survival in the event of a crash!
