thanks po sa info!
Col.TED July 31st, 2006, 07:38 PM halos same priced lang ang Zeus 508W & katulad nito na Shark Index helmet.......sa Exceed ka bumili to get discounts:)
elgatonegro July 31st, 2006, 10:18 PM Like what Col.TED have said, you can have a discount at "EXCEED Motor Sales". It is located along Rizal Avenue between 8th and 9th Avenue Caloocan City. It is owned by fellow MCP member/forumer named ALLAN aka ACCS. You can contact him @ "362-26-65".
jqlaxamana July 31st, 2006, 11:26 PM magkano po itong shark index na ito? may nakita ako dito sa amin sa angeles city eh.. check ko lang kung magkalapit ang price jan sa inyo para mabili ko rin kung sakali.. TIA!
forbiddensmoke August 1st, 2006, 08:53 PM guys, may idea po ba kayo kung magkano po kaya yung helmet na ganun? im from malolos pa po kasi, medyo malayo po sa caloocan. more than 1 hour ride from here...
dito po kasi sa malolos panay rip-off ang presyo... la pa choices. same sa nearby towns... laki ng patong pero la choices...
Dick Steele August 1st, 2006, 10:04 PM Folks, a word of wisdom, just because the helmet is for everday use DOESNT mean that you have to compromise your safety by buying a less than qualified "safe" helmet. I never gamble my life when it comes to chosing the "right" helmet to do the job, and that it needs to protect my one & only head. I use HJC for me coz i know theyre DOT & SNELL. Its one of the least expensive "SAFE" helmet thats out there.

i completely agree with this...most of the time, riders tend to buy cheap helmets that will be used for short trips or even for their backrides....always go for the certified ones....don't think of it as an expense, but rather as an investment....
forbiddensmoke August 3rd, 2006, 12:38 AM how i wish... hirap talaga pag student na biker... la pambili... haay... :{ utuin ko na nga lang ulit erpats ko para makabili ng certified...
Dick Steele August 3rd, 2006, 12:56 AM i think anyone here will agree with that if you have enough money to buy a bike, regardless of how much you paid for it, you dont have ANY excuse NOT to buy a "safe" helmet to go along with it. And the million peso question is: "How much is you head worth to you"?! You answer that question yourself & you get the picture. Just a worthy advise from your fellow concerned rider. Ingatz po tayo...
mailliw_17 August 3rd, 2006, 01:55 AM hindi safe ang ZEUS?
Col.TED August 3rd, 2006, 02:08 AM my mistake sa post ko sa taas....should be Zeus 506W ang half face na tulad sa Index Shark.......meron din ang HJC.....i think it's the CL-22.....their prices ranges somewhere P2k- P2.3k:)
Zeus helmets are also DOT certified:)
nhk61 August 3rd, 2006, 10:36 AM i agree.....
it's too late already if you met an accident.......

Ingatz po tayo...precisely my point to bikers I meet along the road who make do of "cheap and/or inappropriate" helmets (i see some wearing construction helmets, mountainbike helmets, etc... ) just for the sake that they have a helmet (specially when they'll be passing some checkpoints).
but if you look at their ride with all the upgraded parts and accessories, it seems to me that they value more their ride more than their life...

if you think safety is expensive, try an accident!
forbiddensmoke August 3rd, 2006, 04:27 PM OO nga.
Anyway, may idea po ba kayo how much yung Zeus 506w? Para pareho sila ng itsura ng 508w ko. Plus, nagcocomply pa ito sa DOT standards (which is good enough).
Maraming Salamat Po!
