Mga sir, wala pa akong motor trip ko na talaga ung helmet modifications na nakikita ko lalo na sa x-games (mike metzger). Im speaking in terms of figure and contour modification rather than paint jobs.

Just want to ask if we have a mod body here in the Philippines that cater to these needs. Meron nga ba?

sir anong helmet mod ba hanap mo??? kung painting mods... meron dito sa MCP nagoofer ng mga astig na painting designs sa helmets pati sa MC na rin.

bro, modifying the helmet may render it useless and unsafe....that is indicated in the helmet's user's manual...some helmet manufacturers even discourage placing stickers or repainting helmets.

@NSCB, syempre, when you modify, di mo kakalimutan ung safety, pwede naman magmodify ng di nawawala ang safety features eh. As i mentioned, it is done in the US, especially sa x-games ko pa nakita yan, so how come naging useless and unsafe ang modification? just my 2 cents.

siguro nagiiba ang timpla ng shell kapag napinturahan. chemical reaction? kasi, merong chemical ang pintura at thinner na kaya tumunaw or magpalambot ng plastic. whatyuthink?

i have to agree with wasted...i guess it would depend on the material used for the helmet's shell, otherwise why would manufacturers prohibit painting or putting stickers on helmets?

helmet liners are made of styrofoam and it has a very negative chemical reaction to paint thinner it will basically disolve the helmet liner if by any chance it would come into contact with the thinner. better safe than sorry dude... so if i were you i will just leave my helmet alone.

kaya bawal stickers tsaka paint kasi bakamay crack na di pa natin ankikita, ang helmet kasi once mabagsak nang matindi o makasama sa aksidente, consider it useless na dahil it might not give the 100% protection it once gave the user kayaiwasan natin ang pagmodify ng helmet kasi pag naiba ang korte nito, baka di na nit ma-venly transfer yung shock incase then dun lang sya sa isang specific na place sa helmet which is very bad for the ser kasi critical point to.
