hey guys,

did you know that there's an organization that fights for riders' rights - especially those who fall under 400 cc? That is Motorcycle Advocates of the Philippines or the commonly called MAP. This organization was originally founded by big bike owners not only for them but for small bikers' welfare too. I myself is a member because I believe in their cause although my bikes are both 150cc. We regularly meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at California Dreamin at Wilson Street, Greenhills San Juan.

I am inviting you to come tomorrow October 21, 2003 at 7:30 pm to see and check it out for yourself.

Let's support the cause of this organization. Its not everyday that we find concerned bikers who give their effort for the sake of other people.

I just want to add a bit of perspective here for those who are new to MAP.

At the current time MAP is of more value to sub 400cc riders but only very slightly and only because of freeways policy disciminates against sub400cc bikes.

Everything MAP fights for is for ALL bikes. Parking problems, village problems, being banned on some roads, two up riding bans, etc effect us all.

Even the freeways policy is because one man decided that anyone who riders a bike of less than 400cc is poor and uneducated. He used this very successfully to divide the biker community. My question to those who support him is this. What happens when your friend is replaced or resigns? You have given the PNCC and TOLL Regulatory Board the power to put themselves above the LTO and decide who can use the roads. If his successor is anti-bike you will be banned like everyone else so dosn't it make sense to end the ban? While the ban exists ALL bikes are in danger of being stopped anytime. It is not a fight for sub 400cc bikes to exercise their legal right to use a public highway, it is a fight for ALL bikes to legally use the tollways (and all the other roads that will follow their example)

that's great sir bodick, kaya lang wala nga pala akong ride, baka d ako makapunta sa fort tomorrow, anyways, baka padala ko na lang k pongki...( kung oks lang k pongki...):D
