View Full Version : Need inputs from Loncin owners
Myogi June 27th, 2006, 08:18 PM Hi all, I'm planning to get a Loncin utility ATV 250cc, however, there are quite a number of people telling me to get something else cuz these China made ATVs are not reliable, have bad suspension, and they are betting that i'll probably get rid of it after a year cuz i won't be happy with it.
I have checked out an Aeon 180cc utility atv and have test drove one. I don' remember the difference when i test drove a china made atv back in Baguio.
My questions to Loncin owners are:
1) Are Chinese ATV that bad?
2) Performance?
3) Handling?
4) Built Quality?
I will appreciate any inputs and opinions regarding this matter.
If only i have a bigger budget then i would definitely go for Japanese made or American made. Btw, im new to this ATV thing, it seems interesting.
One more thing, i'm also choosing between getting an ATV 250cc or GO Cart 150cc. I will be mainly using either of these toys in my farm, don't know how any of these toys will be useful to me but I'm sure I will have fun with it.

Hi bro..... this is Angel Gabriel.... i have a Loncin Cruiser 150cc... i am using it for a quit some time now.... all of my fellow clubmates have china made bike too... and is running for about more than a year..... it's not that bad if you get either a china made bikes or japanese one.... to give you an idea.... china made bikes cost cheaper than jap's bikes.... i mean a lot cheaper.... performance... depends on how you maintain it and not on how you use it.... is you will follow the instructions in the manuals it will give you a long service(like changing of machine oil promply) performance...... not that impressive when compare to a jap's bike.... syempre japan yun.... handling.... almost the same as other brand of bikes.... sanayan lang...... quality.... depends on how you will use it..... but for me.... the quality is impressive naman.... kasi kung humps at lubak...minor dapat... yung iba kasi hatw lang ng hataw... kahit ba jap's bike yan eh bale wala ang quality.... basta bro.... kung compare yung china bike sa japanesse made bike eh wala talaga sinabi ang china....pero kung hindi mo sya icocompare...at ikaw ang susukat ng performance nya base sa iyong kagustuhan eh doon mo masasabi na ok ang china... the Best ang china kasi affordble na quality pa.... eh kung mayaman lang ako bakit ako bibili ng china... kaso i want to have a bike.....sabi nga sa poster ng loncin..."Let Dream Come True...":) that depends on you.... but for me.... it's a very good starters bike..... maybe pagnakaipon na ako... baka bili rin ako ng jap's bike.... pero sa china bike ko ibubuhuos ang lahat ng skills ko on riding bikes.... para pag japs' na yung bike ko... okey na ako..... hope this will help.....
Myogi July 10th, 2006, 06:22 PM I guess for an entry level na bike, pwede na rin and china made. Siguro nga mai obvious difference talaga sa performance ng engine, pero talagang you get what you pay for. Totoo rin na kapag inaalagaan mo ung gamit mo, mas tatagal, same with kotse. frequent servicing lang kailangan. Anyhow, most likely i'll end up with a Loncin Atv. A lot cheaper kasi compared sa mga taiwan and jap atvs.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience with Loncin products. Really appreciated it. I'll just write up mai own review, once i own one already..wala kasi ako mahanap na forum sa net about these...sa mga tao ko lang na tatanong.
bryanpumper February 10th, 2007, 02:43 AM I have a Loncin Extreme 110. It's about a year old na but I'm impressed, ala pa sya naging problem since day 1. Maganda ang handling, hatak okay din. Pra ring XRM ang takbo and ang look and feel. I really agree dun sa taas, na kahit pa sabihin mong jap bike or german, american....basta hindi ka maingat..eh talaga namang kawawa bike mo. Tsaka in my own experience, nung nabuksan ko ung makina ng Extreme ko, aba.. halos kaparehas ng sa xrm, casing lng ng makina ang pinagkaiba, but I didn't dare to replace it with any other parts, may tiwala naman ako sa bike ko and besides, MAY SERVICE CENTER ang Loncin sa Haig st, Mandaluyong sa tapat ng JRU!! hehe, nakabili me dun ng rear fender at flairings ng Extreme ko... tsaka may nakuha pa me discount.
so para okay tayong lahat eto finding ko:
*Honda XRM compared to my bike:
Honda = astig / abundant and spare parts
Loncin = astig / MAY SERVICE CENTER tsaka pwedeng kabitan ng pyesa ng xrm. ... very clever.
so til next time...ur happy Loncin rider, bryanpumper c",)
RIDE SAFE...RIDE HAPPY
