Proceed with confidence

The Burgman has long been renowned for introducing motorcycle levels of sophistication to the scooter class. Further enhancements are evident in the new 250’s chassis design.
The rigid underbone frame is complemented by sturdy 41mm-inner-tube front forks and by a link-type monoshock rear suspension system. The bike rides on lightweight 13-inch, five-spoke wheels shod with fat tyres, allowing the rider to make full use of the Burgman’s superior lean angles.
Compliant suspension set-up and 100mm of wheel travel at the front and rear give a comfortable and stress-free ride while promoting tyre contact even on rough surfaces.

All-round disc brakes

All-round disc brakes (260mm at the front; 210mm at the rear) mean the Burgman stops as well as it goes. They’re operated by twin bar-mounted levers, and their performance is controlled by Suzuki’s Combination Braking System.
The right-hand bar lever operates only the front caliper in the conventional way; but squeeze the left-hand lever and, as well as operating the rear caliper, the system delivers a measured braking input to the front wheel, too.
For convenience and peace of mind when the Burgman 250 is parked, the lock system for the rear brake has a newly designed, easy-to-operate lever that’s smoothly integrated into the front bodywork.
