hello everyone! never heard of "agdangan, quezon" before? saan po ba banda ito?.........
Agdanganan, Quezon is located in BONDOC PENINSULA. It is in between the route to Kwebang Lampas and EME (Quezon National Park). If you go further down the towns after Agdangan, it heads to Catanauan then hop on a ferry and go to Marinduque Island

yes, i studied the map here in the office, and i see it now. it's not really along the main highway, it appears. do we make a right after atimonan? from my estimates, it seems that its another 80km from lucban.
marinduque island is already on the horizon if you're by the shore. husay, man.
thank you very much!!!
sir wasted, go ako dito. hindi pa ako nakakarating dito. :)

I have spoken to the resort owner Tita Ching Javierama a while ago. Good to go na ang food for 16 persons. Mix of shrimps, alimasag, inihaw na baboy, pakbet... etc.

wasted_23 June 26th, 2006, 09:14 AM haayyy.... hindi nakisama ang panahon. the weather was fine when we took off, but poured down when we reached the Pililia twisties. by the time we reached Petron Famy, para na kaming mga basang sisiw. 8:30am, SRC scooteristas decided to back-out and cancel the ride. only the 3 SRC amigos MGee, QuesoRico and "BATAS ViR", went through. we were having our brunch at McDo Marcos Hiway when Batas texted me at around 11:30am... walang ulan sa Lucban! argh!!!
ayoko na mag kwento at naiinis lang ako. Hmp!!!!! :D
Malumanay riders....=b

MGee June 26th, 2006, 12:04 PM 10 riders took off from shell c5 on a fine albeit cloudy weather. however somewhere in the twisties of pililia the rain caught us by surprise, drenching us before we can stop and don raingears. we arrived in famy wet and cold but in high spirit. after having something for breakfast we took off for our next stop, lucban, for some coffee. along the way, we encountered patches of rain in some areas and the road looks slick and slippery so we took it easy in the twisties. the weather in lucban is...nice, until water fell from sky in torrents while were having our coffee.
we finally arrived in our destination, agdangan quezon, little bit after 12:00 pm, cold, tired, and verryyy hungry. after shucking off our wet clothes we sat down to eat, and lo and behold, the food on the table good for 16 persons consist of shrimps, alimasags, pinakbet, porkchop and sinigang na baboy. grabe!
vir will post some pics later
ViR June 26th, 2006, 12:49 PM Yup slight drizzles from Famy and then dry at Lucban. We stopped at Juros to have some 3-in-1 Kapeng Lucban :), I texted Wasted about the nice weather.
10:30am - We were gearing up to leave... then it rained hard. What the heck it made no difference. We were all aware of the forecast for that day.
Occassional rains from Lucban to Tayabas to cloudy skies at Pagbilao and yonder...
The weather was getting better. It was a nice sign that the twisties of Bondoc were also dry. It's going to be play time for Valentino Mgee and QuesoRico.:D Nice asphalted roads, looong sweepers and some straights to blast the carbon out from your engines.
shibby June 26th, 2006, 02:14 PM Sayang! Yan lang masasabi ko....
seangreen June 26th, 2006, 02:50 PM what time did you get back? and what route did you take?
that's what most of us were afraid of. navakla kami sa prospect of riding in the dark and raining pa
galing galing talaga ng amigos and vir of course!
wasted_23 June 26th, 2006, 03:09 PM what time did you get back? and what route did you take?
that's what most of us were afraid of. navakla kami sa prospect of riding in the dark and raining pa
galing galing talaga ng amigos and vir of course!
bwahahaha!!!
nung sabihin ni rico na we can ride with a 40~60~80kph pacing, tanong ko sa sarili ko,"anong petsa pa kaya kami makakarating at makakauwe kapag nagkaganun?":O sabe nga ni mommy seangreen, kakatakot mag ride sa dilim at ulan. =b  :D
MGee June 26th, 2006, 03:34 PM well, actually kung kasama kayo, we can set a time sked, pero if you leave the amigos on their own, walang sense of time yan pag nasa ride. imagine 4:30 na nakababad pa sa pool at masayang nagkukwentuhan, parang di na uuwe, ayoko ko naman sabihan baka mabinyagan pa ako pasaway na matanda. so, ayun, we went home raining all the way. you should try negotiating the twisties of luisiana at night when its raining, i tell you, its something else! i reached home at 10:45pm soaking wet despite the raingear im wearing.
i think it was a wise decision for not continuing, although its a pity you didnt see the place, di ba vir?
oh btw, herc followed and also suffered... err, enjoyed the same thing weve been thru.
MGee June 26th, 2006, 03:43 PM bwahahaha!!!

kayang-kaya nyo yun, kayo pa!!!
MGee June 26th, 2006, 04:03 PM one thing i can say about SRC, when they make a decision, theyre solid as one, galeng!
Hercules June 26th, 2006, 04:26 PM 10:30am - We were gearing up to leave... then it rained hard. What the heck it made no difference. We were all aware of the forecast for that day.
Hehehehe, i think was somewhere near the area of Carmona Exit at SLEX that time. I took off at 10:00am from Makati (had to rescue and service a stall bike till 3am the night before). It was raining all the way till Bay, Laguna. Then dry up to Luisiana. When I got to "rainy" Lucban, my first stop at 11:45am, the friendly staff told me that the three of you had coffee and took off at 10:30am. After a glass of water and texting you guys, I took off for Bondoc Peninsula, not knowing were final destination was. All I knew was the town of Agdangan, so I left and headed there, will read the text for directions of the place when I get then.
Just like the weather in the Bicolandias, it would rain hard in one town and be completly dry in the next. It was similar here. It was raining hard in Lucban then light showers in Tayabas, very heavy rain in Pagbilao area and completly dry at Bondoc Peninsula starting from Padre Burgos.
The weather was getting better. It was a nice sign that the twisties of Bondoc were also dry. It's going to be play time for Valentino Mgee and QuesoRico. Nice asphalted roads, looong sweepers and some straights to blast the carbon out from your engines.
I was able to enjoy the long straight, smooth sweepers left and right with good dry weather, alright. Soon I was in Agdangan! Time to check the phone and head to final destination. I was hungry already
oh btw, herc followed and also suffered... err, enjoyed the same thing weve been thru.
Hahahaha..... It's more of experienced the same thing as you all did.
accs June 26th, 2006, 04:56 PM nice! just what I expect ever since I joined Mgee, Rico, Vir and the rest of the Amigos in their "EXCAPADES", It was mostly a wet but adventurous ride.. I learned a lot from my AMIGOS whether it was negotiating the road in rain or shine or discovering far new places. ALL I CAN SAY IS you will never be left alone when you are with the "los chorizos" er "el amigos" I mean. But, in this circumstance I believe the SRC did make a right choice in their decision then. Well not to worry there are a lot of ride brewing every week either with the SRC or the SRC AMIGOS.
wasted_23 June 26th, 2006, 07:56 PM one thing i can say about SRC, when they make a decision, theyre solid as one, galeng!
ayt! Tnx for understanding Mi Amigos.
if i may.... let me recount some things that happened that day.
1. a guest rider got lost minutes after the group took off.
2. chairman and his backride backed out after reaching Antipolo due to bad rear tire.
3. seangreen's vespa fishtailed 3x due to road hazards.(thank God she was able to take control)
4. grumpyspike almost hit a dog that crossed the open road leading to Pililia. buti na lang, experienced na sya pagdating sa mga biglang tumatawid! :D lab yu grumps!:O
5. my S4's front brakes became spongy to almost no brakes at all when rain poured while we were at the Pililia twisties(almost did overshoot in one of the curves).
these things made us think twice or even thrice to push through with the ride. argh!!! ok, ok, we admit..... we chickened out! hehehe:o :O
ViR June 26th, 2006, 09:07 PM 12:30pm we arrived at JAVIERAMA Beach Resort.
We took of the rain gears. Took of riding gears and changed into more comfortable clothes. We were tasked to eat food prepare for 16 persons...:D Sadly we failed. So we had a hearty take home instead.:)
1. Signboard of JAVIERAMA and Legaspi Beach resorts along the H-way.
2. Tables for 4 prepared at the Club House
3. View of the entrance to the Pool Resort. We were at the Beach Resort side (Club House)

ViR June 26th, 2006, 09:22 PM Standing from the side of the olympic pool... This is the best I could do to give you guys an idea of the place. 360 degrees. :)
Sensya na wala akong tripod na dala, nagmukha tuloy ewan ang pool.
ViR June 26th, 2006, 09:34 PM more pix...
ViR June 26th, 2006, 09:43 PM Those were most of the pics...
We would like to extend our Thanks to Tita Ching Javier owner of the resort being so hospitable and making our brief stay worthwhile.
Ate Rose for serving us food. May kasama pang pagwasiwas ng mga flying insects.
1 & 2. Tita Ching with her grandson
3. Ate Rose
BTW, If anyone is interested to go there via ride or family/group outing you may contact the resort owner directly. The numbers are in the pics.
ViR June 26th, 2006, 10:00 PM so, ayun, we went home raining all the way. you should try negotiating the twisties of luisiana at night when its raining, i tell you, its something else! i reached home at 10:45pm soaking wet despite the raingear im wearing. .
Buti ka pa may nagsuot na ng rain gear before we left the resort - ako tinamad. Unfortunate for me it poured hard at Lucban. From there on I was soaking wet till I got home. :D Iba rin talaga raining twisties night ride... Kelangan full concentration talaga habang nag wipe ng lens ng helmet.
i think it was a wise decision for not continuing, although its a pity you didnt see the place, di ba vir?
Agree with you. Though sayang nga as Shibby said.
Eco June 27th, 2006, 02:28 AM Herc and Co.,

MGee June 27th, 2006, 07:34 AM @vir,
nice pics, kaya lang may wet portion yung lens mo, check it out.
@eco,
next time we'll let you know, pm me your cell no.
javierama occupy properties on both sides of the road opposite its other. on the sea side they have the clubhouse, kitchen, cabanas, cr and shower facilities, etc., while on the other side, they have a large parking area, a large swimming pool, guesthouses, and a very nice resthouse with a lot of green open areas. a very nice place indeed.
pinarello2000 June 27th, 2006, 01:58 PM and now for the D-N-F's
pinarello2000 June 27th, 2006, 02:03 PM as the golden rule goes, safety first before anything else. no regrets on my part. there'll be many other days and agdangan won't be going anywhere anway.
still and all, masaya pa rin.

Yup... just go with your comfort level always. If you don't feel comfortable continuing a ride better not. Once your uncomfortable and tensed mas malaki ang chance na mag kick in ang survival reactions. If you are familiar with SR's, you'll know that it brings you closer to harm's way. ;)
Till next Agdangan ride bro...:)
