what paints do you guys use? Dupont or something? Automotive paint? Is it guaranteed that the colors wont fade? ive seen some work and in the long run it gets eaten up by UV rays...

If i'm not mistaken i think he's using different kinds of paints. depends on the helmet. he uses PPG, ANZHAL and NIPPON. ;)

several layers of clear top coat makes it shiny and keeps it from fading:)

I don't know anything about it, but I bought a airbrushed helmet from www.ironhorsehelmets.com a while ago. They have a few hundred airbrushed helmets on the site so they must know.

hi,

i would suggest looking at samples first before commiting...fine lines and accents are more difficult on helmets since getting correct proportions on both sides take a lot of time..here's one shop, accu-built models 374 7197, 09164320129...ask for larry

Larry, I suggest post the pics of your HJC helmet with your artwork so they will have a clear idea of your artwork. Hope this helps. Thanks.
