Me, paguwi ko sa house, i spray lysol sa loob ng helmet. ok ba ito?

i use balaclava. pag uwi pinapasingaw ko lang helmet ko. tapos punas then lagay sa bag at box.

just bought another helmet today - a zeus 2000A glossy black! :banana: :s :L

ok lng namn bro ang lysol spray "Lemon Scent" mas mabango... pero 4 me bro my helmet dkorin pinapahiram same with my bike ,heheheheehee.. bumabaho kasi pag ginagamit ng iba..ehehehehe..peace

kung naka fix na yung chick pads, mag balaclava (P 180.00) nalang para yung pawis sa balaclava muna bago sa chickpad, pampasikip pa kunti sa helmet

mga sir, airfreshener sa helmet try nyo nawawala din yun mabahong amoy.

fianna - anong airfreshner? as in yung mga glade or california scents?

sir arwin, nakaron ng mga gasgas yung zeus pearl white na bili ko sa inyo.
ayaw na matanggal ang mga dark scratches using soap and water.

any advice para matanggal eto?
para lang hindi halata masyado?:?

guys ano ba maganda gamitin panglinis pag flat black ang helmet? hirap din pala pag ganito finish ng helmet kita agad ang mga finger prints

i always wear a balaclava under. after using, i leave it in an open-air room overnight and spray a fabric freshner on pads the next day. when boxed i leave a moisture/bad odor sucker (free ito sa mga bagong sapatos) inside it. HTH

Try "Hygienic Solutions: Odor Control Spray"... for shoes, bags, caps, HELMETS, and other sporting equipments... AntiMicrobial po sya at sweet smelling. :)

Nabili ko po yung sakin sa SM Supermarket... sa auto accs section...

isn't it harmfull if we use air freshener on our helmets? syempre chemicals yun and we always use our helmets at magkakaroon ng contacts sa mga pogi nating faces!....

effective yung baking soda that disolve in water and spray it to your inner pads of your helmet...then papatuyoin and pag tuyo na...pag pag nalang! parang magkakaroon ng powedery white sa loob...tip lang wag masyado excessive ang paglagay! dahil mahapdi sa face!

may nabasa rin ako dit sa MCP dati...na after niya gamitin ang helmet niya he will put a charcoal or newspaper inside the helmet...parang ipapatong lang niya yung helmet over those...effective daw!...scientifically, charcoal and newpapers eliminates odor...try niyo rin!

pero mas maganda labhan niyo ang helmet niyo...pero you will sacrifice a day sa pagpapatuyo!...

I spray fabreeze, and I wash my helmet with shampoo and warm water maybe once every two months. Keep the faceshield open overnight in front of a fan. Don't let anybody else use your helmet, its like letting someonelse use your underwear....

try the helmet care foaming spray. it is mentioned in the latest scooterista magz.

kung wala parin umubra sa mga suggestions sa taas para ma-prolong yung life mg helmet niyo, plus, a talcum powder scent... eto gamitin niyo..

may thread na about this dati..... dun ko nalaman ang pag gamit ng baking soda sa panglinis ng loob ng helmet.

i just got an ODOR-X interior deodorizer by turtle wax.. only 145 pesos..
pde nyo spray sa helmet fresh sent.. sa ACE hardware ko binili..

Just crumple a piece (of newspaper) and put it inside the helmet.
This for me is the best way to keep odor away. Newspapers absorb moisture... bacteria loves moisture...;)

activated carbon absorbs moisture and bad odors.
baking soda eliminates any kind of odor.
silica gel (yung naka sachet na kasama nung binili ang helmet) it absorbs moisture.

when storing your helmets, its either place the activated carbon or silica gel in the helmet. and leave the visor open para mahanginan yung loob. if your using a flip-up (modular), leave the flip-up open when storing.

if there's odor on your pads just wash them or spray them with baking soda solution.

newspapers works like magic kahit nga sa mga sapatos ito talaga ang solution... yung surface pledge lang po... kung may stains esp sa puti try niyo po yung multipurpose cleaners... para siyang creme na nakalata... sa mga ace hardware meron po... tapos cloth lang... ako i use two helmets isang pang bugbugan at isang pang pa-fogi!

Anyway, pwede nyo rin po i-try yung ionizer. It's a 12v product that you can buy from ACE hardware and auto supply shops in Banawe. Ginagamit talaga sya sa mga kotse para mawala yung bad odor. Kailangan nya ng DC 12V power supply. You may place it inside your helmet while stocked. Hope this helps.:wave:

Do you know where you can get it in Manila? We don't get that mag in Dumaguete, but I saw a site on the net, but no addresses. Sounds like the real deal as per the reviews.
