NSCB May 15th, 2006, 11:28 AM Just as i've said in the other thread...Leather & Rubber are two different materials...use leather protectant or leather conditioner for your jacket instead

There is a thread about leather maintenance in the forum.
Just type LEATHER and you'll find it.

I agree. These are available at SM Malls - Hardware shop. Leather care products by Turtle Wax for leather seats ng Cage works fine with my Leather Gloves. Soft and shine is maintained.
Do not use any other non-leather products unless you intend the leather to chap or harden.
Safe ride.
God Bless.

bolitog2003 May 16th, 2006, 07:32 PM i think its a little more appropriate to use biton or kiwi for leather products:D

KIPS150 May 16th, 2006, 09:56 PM As the old song goes " SAPATOS NI CION NILAGYAN NG BITON, KIKINIS YON, KIKINIS YON, KIKINIS YONNNNNNN" :O. That tire black thing for the leather is way too much. Try to imagine brother consider your leather jacket or stuff so pricey as if like your skin. Put some tire black or non leather conditioner to your skin, let us see what would be the outcome. Leather do come in many types (Goat, Lamb, Cow, Lizard, Crocs, Snakes). Anyway leather clothes comes also with a price and i just can't imagine if you can still bear to put tire black on a leather clothes with soft feel lamb skin leather made in ITALY :O with a tagged price $500 up of GUCCI, GIRGIO ARMANI. If ever with rhino skin leather jackets it might help such tire blacks to softened the material :O. People like us who wears leather jackets and pants for such rides really do care a lot (Kahit Mainit Or Pagpapawisan Na). Look for some leather conditioner with contents of natural oils, evade using conditioner with petrol based or alcohol base thus might ruin leathers top coating (Will fade or crack).

Good Day Sir,
It is not appropriate to use Tire Black for your Leather Jacket...
Tire black use mainly for tires po.
Dry clean is the best way, then simply apply some baby oil.
Bossing iba kasi ang stiches ng mga safety jacket kesa sa ordinary clothes, lalo na sa leather baka mapunit agad yan kapag rumampa tayo...

ya me too... obvously alam naman nating lahat pag leather. E di bumili ng leather conditioner sa mga hardware store o sa mga malls like DIY shop or handyman. Wag naman armor all o tire black. Kung mag lagay ka tire black edi kakain ng alikabok at dikit dikit ang jacket mo. Baby oil is a no no to. Ang alam ko baka madaling mag crack ito. Thats why i agree with Mike.. I cant believe it. But.. but it really must be posted.:)
