since the nautical highway of GMA is fast becoming a reality its much easier to travel by land from manila all the way down to davao.

from iloilo, motorcycle fare on a RO-RO is only 300 pesos (last i heard) from bacolod you can go to Cebu via San Carlos (4 hours) or via Don Salvador Binedicto (2 hours) then a 2 hour bout ride and you're on cebu na.

going south to dumaguete via Kabankalan/ Mabinay is roughly 5 hours. descent roads all the way.

i can help you there. caticlan to iloilo- well the roads are excellent to moderate (dusty due to ongoing construction) but its no problem even for a UB.

the RO-RO are always on time (two hours travel) one is in iloilo while the other (cheaper fare) is on Dumangas. i can get you the exact schedule but since you're traveling by the end of the year, it's best to give it to you then.

@ugly the best ride na ang from manila to bacolod pre. gina palno ko man gani from bacolod to mainla. hopefully by june madayun ko.
