I am in the market for my first scooter and the related safety equipment. I've tried a Zeus XXL modular helmet at Action Hobbies but it was just too tight.

Can anybody point me in the direction of a shop that sells larger than normal helmet sizes?

Bro is it your first time to fit a helmet? Maybe the tightness you feel is the right tightness that it should be.
Helmets must be tight enought that it won't wiggle when you shake your head hard.:)

But if the helmet is holding blood circulation into you head then it is really tight and not advisable.:)

I've had this problem before and the lack of a suitable helmet has often kept me off the race track in a car.

Anyway, with respect to the Zeus, I'm sure it was too tight because the front section would not close once I got my head inside it.

Please advise if you know of any shops that carry the larger helmet sizes. Thanks again.

try HJC at JTriumph stores. XXL sized HJC helmets are bigger than XXL sized Zeus helmets. my head is an XXL too.

don't know about the XXL's, pero, i have an XL HJC cl22 and tried on a SYMAX XL before. medyo masikip. sa Zeus, ok ang fit ng XL sa akin.

Mag special order ka sa Kilton motors -- distributor ng Arai helmets..

Arai is i think the only one who makes good quality XXXL helmets.

The rest are just plain ordinary.

Same problem here mga sir pero my parents gave me a 508 xxl sikip sa pisngi ko dahil nga bigay at hindi na maisoli tinanggal ko na lang mga pads sa gilid, ayun kasya na pro pag aalisin ko open ko pa yun lid, lahat ba ganito mga xxl na helmet o may malalaki din na opening sa ibang brands, gusto ko din bumili ng bago dahil umaalog naman pag wala side pads,i think xxxl konti lang difference sa xxl,ano mga sir ma recommend nyo na brand na malaki opening full face. dun po namin nabili yung xxxl na zeus 508w ng boss ko.. modular din po sya...

can you, buy any chance, post your head circumference? or the other guys who use XXL helmets...how about posting your head circumference.

hehe.. same dilemna i had before... suggest you try the HJC CL-14 model.
all brands were very tight to me.. when i asked for the CL-14 XXXL size, super luwag... hehe... bought myself a size XXL instead :-)

what i didn't like with the zeus modular type is because medyo masikip sa chin area... ended up buying the HJC CL-14 XXL

motoworld sa fort may xxxl na zeus modular. but even that was too tight in the chin for me. get an hjc nalang, it fits big heads better.

sir, sa jt triumph merong xxxl na hjc helmets...galing lang me dun last saturday., parehong kasya sakin yung xl and xxl, dko na sinubukan yung xxxl., yung xl na lng kinuha ko. magkaiba kya weight ng diff. sizes ng helmet? or yung paddings lang ang pinagkakaiba nun? kya yung xl na lng kinuha thinking na mas magaan sya sa xxl.
