View Full Version : What is the Coolest FullFace Helmet
eek April 30th, 2006, 06:04 PM Of course we should consider DOT, SNELL etc,
I have spotted http://www.airoh.biz/eng/start.html some cool helmets here but i dont think that they are that safe.
Could you guys give me some opinions.:s
CRUNOS April 30th, 2006, 09:18 PM i consider my nolan helmet the coolest... full face...
Alphaq2 April 30th, 2006, 09:48 PM ganda ng airoh helmets! futuristic. meron ba dito yan locally? meron kasi sa classifieds section kaso sa singapore pa. magkano kaya.
Andre_Tigs April 30th, 2006, 10:35 PM Those are some awesome looking helmets... Lalo na yung mga modular! Parang fighter pilot ang dating mo pag suot mo.
venerzky May 1st, 2006, 12:22 AM AGV Rossi Replica Helmets!!!!!!!!!!
JRT May 1st, 2006, 12:39 AM Tol pag madami ka namang pera pambili-Arai,Shoei,Agv,Kbc,Nolan,X-lite,Muomy among others. Kung praktikal ka naman eh Safe/cool na HJC or Zeus. Kung medyo tipid sa Budget eh Index, di ko lang alam if DOT (USA) OR Thailand yun. Ride safe/fast!
jetzone May 1st, 2006, 12:58 AM i saw one of these new model from airoh from the store where i took the pictures of the yamaha r6 which i had posted it here...
that lid costs between P11,000- P12,000. maganda sya coz me built in visor(same as a caberg model V2 fliptop)
matt black is the best color that i saw..di bagay yung me mga graphics..
i also like the airoh tyger mx hybrid...problem is ang hirap hanapin..mas maganda yun kasi pwedeng pang full face na road bike without the peak..or with the peak..pwede syang maging off road helmet..plus a built in visor
and cheaper at P6,800
a similar helmet[ Arai tour X ] costs 4x as much as the tyger pero makikita mo talaga yung quality ng arai [ a very radical cool helmet ] at a price- P27,800:)
Kamen Rider May 1st, 2006, 07:31 AM Holy cow! Where do you buy those locally?
tigger May 1st, 2006, 08:26 AM The coolest looking helmet would be SUOMY then ARAI, in my opinion...
macnot May 1st, 2006, 12:41 PM sir san meron airoh helmet dito satin? ty.
eek May 1st, 2006, 02:03 PM But this helmets have no DOT or SNELL cert, the only thing that is certified is the visor or the helmet lid. Ouch:o When I said "Coolest" I mean with the airflow and everything. Sorry to get you confused Guys but these are available locally visit our Classified adds..
I have tried z2100 in Motoworld and its kinda hot, but im not used to Fullfaced helmet.

IMO, if air flow is ur concern...go for HJC CL14...it has 7 vents..I currently use one (see my avatar) aside from a Zeus 2000, & a Zeus 508W. I prefer to wear the CL14 most of the time....
carlitos May 2nd, 2006, 06:44 PM Zeus......

forbiddensmoke May 2nd, 2006, 07:10 PM malupit yung MOMO... tsaka yung Shoei Syncrotec... tsaka Zeus 508w (siyempre...) :O
helon2wheelz May 18th, 2006, 11:02 AM I like KBC helmets and HJC CL14 switch

jojoMITO May 22nd, 2006, 08:43 AM ASTIG ng AIROH helmets!! San makabili nito locally? wala bang dealer dito? I want the modular one....ASTIG sobra. wala nang tatalo sa PORMA ng AIROh HELMETS.
B3RN13 May 22nd, 2006, 11:01 AM For those looking for Zeus helmets, I got mine (508W) sa Exceed Rizal Ave., They don't have a big selection like HJC pero affordable din naman. Hindi sila nagkakalayo ng HJC sa price. The nice thing about the 508W is modular design. Metallic black ang nakuha ko since there wasn't any other color that was available. Suppose to be, HJC na full face ang kukunin ko pero wala silang size para sakin (xl) ng model na gusto ko....
Just wanted to share...
budoy May 22nd, 2006, 01:24 PM O.T. lang po, magkano ba ang Zeus modular at saan meron pinakamura nito?

Where else,,, if you have with you some credit cards, you can have this via online shopping covered with delivery charges. Most likely seldom you will hear this helmet goes on sale :O Roughly 99 to 124 sterling pounds... as in no need to go on sale. What i don't like is that the shell is only made of thermoplastic, but very light...
jojoMITO June 4th, 2006, 10:38 AM I emailed them, they dont have a dealer yet in the philippines. If anyone here has the money, go sell these helmets!!!! They require 150 helmets minimum order. Cgurado magiging hit itong helmet na ito dito sa pinas. So motorcycle shops, magapply na kayo for dealership. Ako cgurado bibili sa inyo! :D
Dick Steele June 6th, 2006, 02:56 PM Aesthetics wise, i like the designs of OGK, KBC, ICON. Performance wise, the ICON, & HJC has been very reliable in terms minimizing outside noise & wind draft. Also very easy to r & r parts like lining & lens.
majinbu June 6th, 2006, 03:49 PM I like Icon Helmet They have some crazy design too this is mine.

Have you tried ordering Airoh helmets online? Thanks!

Sir Paul,
Right here in mideast, i have purchased Cabergs instead for me and my wife (Justissimo). The only bad side with airo is made of thermoplastic shell not like the usual polycarbon thing. Anyway these helmets are of a fashion very futuristic indeed, next year new model such as these i might consider to buy for short rides. If you have credit cards, stores in europe are nice to deal with, specially if you want italian made helmets and apparels. And sterling pounds i think for a 120 14k on phil peso.
philippines June 8th, 2006, 12:23 AM I currently have 3 nolan helmets, but I am about to get one of these modular AIROH TR1 chrome helmets. I rang the dude in singapore who put me in contact with Mr Zandro of OZ racing. Spoke to him and they should arrive in Cebu this week or next. now he said the chrome is around 17t pesos and less for the duo type being coloured, Blue, red, orange, yellow and grey and less again for the matt coloured. But the good thing abount these helmets is that you can take out the inside parts in segments to wash which is a plus in this climate. After 8 months or so my nolan helmet starts to get that sweat smell and I paid 13t plus pesos for it and i cant wash it. So when I get the helmet I will re-post and tell everybody if i think it was worth the $$$:?
mashimaro June 8th, 2006, 02:26 PM Arai, Shoei, Suomy, AGV are "cool" helmets. But PLEASE... can their designers come out with much better looking, udpated "COOLER" designs??? (and I'm not talking about just graphics designs) Geez... they are so old school! Don't be so traditional with your designs guys... try experimenting more while retaining your uncontested edge in safety.
Now why can't these companies come out with radical designs such as those of Airoh company??? Sooner or later (if not sooner already...) companies like these (Icon, Zeus, Airoh, etc.) will be giving some pretty stiff competition to the traditional helmet makers.
Give us street users, non-track riders more options in design. We're not all MotoGP wannabees. We just want our helmets to look cool and fashionable yet functional... hehe. :D
PS
can we have more helmets in yellow too (or a combination thereof)? I just have this silly personal belief that any helmet color other than yellow may cause me to crash. :O

jojoMITO June 9th, 2006, 07:53 AM ^^That is the helmet i want!!!!! OZ racing will be selling them? I need there contact number. :D
philippines June 9th, 2006, 01:27 PM The company is an Italian company, you can see there products at www.airoh.com but theres a guy in singapore who is supplying Oz racing in the Philippines.
Still waiting for the shipment to arrive but should get to manila stores first. Probably try ringing one of the OZ racing stores first, to see if they can give you an update, but if that doesn't work you can call the owner of OZ racing, Mr Zandro on 0917622241. I do know that they have limited stocks and they are going to be expensive. But I to really want one:clap:
pranix June 9th, 2006, 02:10 PM sir, ask ko lang po where could i find ICON, NOLAN & M2R Helmets.
