I don't think it is safe... but what you can do is buy a headphone na kakasya sa helmet. Stick it into the portion of the helmet where your ear shold be and buy a female jack and look for a place to mount it where you can just plug in your ipod. Don't think it is safe kaya di ko sya sinubukan. Just giving you my idea. But I don't recommend you do it. Just experiment on an old helmet. Balitaan mo kami kung ano ang result. I always want to do this before pero wala akong helmet na pwedeng karnihin... hehehehehe... good luck on your project.

Sounds interesting. But shouldn't there be a way to eliminate the wires? Y'know, just to make it neater.

if money was no object, i would use this as a solution from momo-motorola. but the helmet design maybe a bit too edgy with our predisposition to put on the more conventional full faced ones.

having said that, let me just share that i broke my tibia ( on the lower third section) having strapped on a walkman in '81 while on a short ride after lunch on my then Yamaha DT 175. a toyota land cruiser swerved to make a U-turn cutting my path off.

i will think very hard to put on music in my head while riding ever again.

just a suggestion. if you like to put a speaker on your helmet. it should not be beside your ears. rather put it some place where it has a distance to your ear so you can hear the noise outside. gaya ng sasakyan na bumubusina. the sound should not be loud. should be just right, not to distract much of your senses.
