i never ride without a glove on. can good souls post why should others wear them too?

Protection from the sun and the environment? :D Protection from scratches if happen to spill...

I wear full hand gloves instead of the gloves exposing the half of your fingers, just like sir icegee said..its protection against scratches and dampers your hands incase you fall

My hands gets dry and rough whenever I don't wear one when I ride.
And wearing gloves protect your hands on anything that might harm it.

kidding aside, ,

i wear them coz it absorbs you're palms moisture which gives you a better grip and control on the handle bar...it also protects both of your hands against natural elements such as the sun's heat,muck and dirt that you may encounter during a ride....

but most importantly...it protects both of your wrists against abrasions,cuts,or bruises when an accident happen...at hindi pa kakalyuhin ang mga palad natin...:C

gloves are the most important riding gear (well, second to the helmet, of course! :D). it's the most used piece of riding equipment and takes a lot of punishment. for comfort, safety and for wiping off excess water from the shield (leathers are real good at this), do not hesitate to get yourself a great pair! :D

para hindi ma sunburn.. yan ang reason kung bakit wear ako gloves.. ayoko kung pwede kasi hindi ko ma feel yung pag hawak ko.. mas maganda pag walang protection para feel..

Gloves is important for extra grip don't neglect this kasi NAPAKASAKIT sumemplang ng walang gloves (experience ko na kasi) mahirap mawalan ng pang thumb mark. he he he :O

riders should really wear gloves. I had an accident last sunday in subic and I am not wearing gloves. My whole palm suffered like a third degree burn.

i always wear gloves pag short ride ung nakalabas ang finger pag long distance ride ung full sized gloves, sa akin ang disadvantage pag naka gloves ako ang dali mangawit at mag cramp ang hands ko, may be ang hawak ko sa handle bar is to tight. if i am not using gloves hindi masyado na nag ka cramp ang kamay ko.

i wear full mesh gloves for daily rides with carbon fiber armors on finger joints. i wear gel padded full leather gloves with titanium armors on finger joints for long trips. very safe for your hands in case of accidents and suntukans

As many have said gloves are used for protection, sun burn during long ride and i laso experienced yung nangangawit yung kamay pag may gloves during long ride kaya pag malapitan lang half type lang ng gloves gamit ko.....one dis advantage lang for me is ang hirap bumunot ng baril pag biglaan yung mga pangyayari...

IMHO, kung kaya mo rin lang bumili ng knuckled gloves yun na bilhin mo. pero kung medyo medyo short ka sa budget at kailangan mo ng medyo mura pero ok gamitin, try to use SCOYCO MX gloves. price range is 450 to 500. knuckles lang kulang nya pero masarap sa kamay. may leather din siya at ok rin grip sa throttle.

if you feel/think that your hands is Indestructible the time you fall don't use gloves, but for safety reason I may use it hangat di mo na experience maitungkod yung hand's mo di ka gagamit nito. Always keep it mind nakabili ka ng motor mas mahal pas sa gloves.

Cons: Difficult to get bills & coins in when you buy something along the way; sweaty sometimes.

- i have better grip on the throttle and on the clutch and brake levers.
- protection from sun and from falls.
- you look cooler..
-geared up riders gets more respect..

cons.
- can't feel anything when i reach inside my pocket...
- uncomfortable feeling when soaked in the rain..

Nung first time ko mag gloves sa pagride ng motor, parang ganito pakiramdam ko, mas gugustuhin kong walang gloves para masramdam ko yung pagslide ng throttle sa kamay ko pag release at mas ramdam ko kapit ng kamay ko sa throttle.
Pero nung nasanay na ako ng ilang araw na naka gloves sa pagmomotor, parang wala nang pinagkaiba ng naka gloves at walang gloves.:)

ive never learn to use gloves, i have 3 sets pero i find it uncomfortable hirap when i buy something like news paper, or use cp or 2 way radio while riding
but maybe someday ill learn to use it i have to be comfy with it

Simple lang yan. kung kailangan mo bumili ng newspaper, or kailangan mo gumamit ng cellphone at 2-way radio.. (i hope not while riding..it's a NO NO)...EH DI HUBARIN MO GLOVES MO...

NK8890 cellphone na gamit ko, nakakatex message ako. Sa 20 letters na pindot, siguro 1-2 ang mali pag suot ko yung Pokal na gloves.:D

its important to wear gloves, coz na accidente narin ako, i used my hand right palm to prote4ct my face nung pag bagsak ko sa lubak na spalto... yun ang lalim kulang nalang ipako ako. got 3 stitches ang 8 na turok. now i have yung mumurahing 300gloves knot etc. pag nakaraoos im buying a good pair. thanks sino nag bebenta dito? hehe maskina 2nd.
