KIPS150 March 28th, 2006, 03:00 AM Dry cleaning will just ruin your leather jacket. Go to marikina leather shops and ask them if they have soem leather conditioner. Mine i've been using 3M leather conditioner + some cheese cloth. Just damped the cloth with a mild soap wash it also with a clean damped cloth, then 'll spray it with 3M. Before i've tried using glade or some furniture polisher spray but most of them are not so friendly with lamb skins jacket opt to look for some mild none alcohol based leather conditioner. Use the internet and search some topics about leather jacket cleaners or conditioner, check the based ingredients compare to local once. RASor March 28th, 2006, 07:52 AM Sir, re: Cleaning Leather Wear. I use warm water and mild soap. After washing I hang to drip dry (not under the sun). After the item has dried I cure the leather with 3M Leather Conditioning (available at Ace Hardware). Results: Leather is soft and smooth to the touch. It even made the leather smell good. I am not an expert but this method I have tested and it works for me with good results. Safe ride. God Bless. knuckleduster13 March 30th, 2006, 12:23 PM thanks bradas, is it safe to use mild soap on the mesh liner? |
