View Full Version : Mesh Jackets, body fit dapat?
jay_zer0 March 14th, 2006, 10:46 PM kasi pag maluwag, lumolobo yung jacket tapos nag f-flop at high speed..

Motorcycle clothing is designed to fit somewhat tighter than street clothes. This helps to keep the armor or padding in place during a fall so that it can do its job, and to prevent bunching in the unfortunate event of a slide. If the clothing is too loose, it also tends to flap around in the breeze during the ride, which can cause buffeting that can be tiring and annoying.
If the sleeves are too loose, the buffeting can actually transmit arm movements through the handlebars into the steering as an unwanted input. But if the clothing is too tight, it can make it more difficult to move freely or lean forward, especially when riding a sport bike.
another thing......yung thick pad sa bandang baba ng jacket sa likod serves as protection na rin sa lumbar part of your back......then d2 na rin ang dugtungan ng riding pants on most jackets:):)
Payon Hunter March 15th, 2006, 12:15 AM snug fit dapat ang riding jacket dahil incase of a crash magstay dapat yun mga padding sa lugar nya.

+1 and eventually it will loosen and stretch out especially for leathers and mesh jackets... Luluwag yan after certain breakin period and you'll get used to it.
When I got my first leathers, I cant almost move my arms but afer a few rides, the leather expands and i feel more comfortable and protected.
hope these helps.
DropZite March 17th, 2006, 09:41 AM Ok thanks a lot for all those replies! Now I know better! :D
arkitek March 20th, 2006, 07:54 PM I prefer using leather jackets. yung makapal ung leather and not the thin ones. it gives more slide protection, but does any of you guys know if there is a shoulder armour available at all? kasi aside from the chest plate ung shoulder armour na lang kulang ko. Help me pout mga bro!

You can buy shoulder, elbow, knee or back armour or paddings separately. I am not sure though if its available locally, but you may want to check it out. over the web it is available like in this link:
