View Full Version : Ever Grand Central Parking Terms & Conditions
tukayo May 5th, 2003, 04:39 PM I photocopied an Ever Grand Central parking ticket (I'll post it as soon as I get it scanned).
#3 of its Terms and Conditions says
Motorcycle shall use the parking space provided for by the Management and shall be charged as an ordinary four (4) wheeled vehicle.
They charge Php20.00 for the first 3 hours and Php7.00 succeeding hours.
I just wanted to know if this is legal? Are they allowed to do this?
If not, what can we do to correct this?
reekee98 May 5th, 2003, 05:03 PM Tukayo, Ever Grand has a separate parking for motorcyle and there is a guard besides the parking area. Before you leave the guard inspects the parking ticket... Siguro yun yung price nung parking fee because there is a guard stationed in the bike parking area.
CaMoTe!!! May 7th, 2003, 01:48 AM ok naman ba yung parking space for motorcycles? i mean, di naman ba crowded? for as long as ok yung space na bigay nila, palagay ko ok na... wag lang yung pipilitin ka isiksik sa kung saan lang...
take this up at the map meeting on may 20 though... we've suceeded with ayala, robinsons and will succeed with sm... i don't know why we can't do it with ever...
reekee98 May 7th, 2003, 09:46 AM So Far okay naman yung parking space hindi crowded......
CaMoTe!!! May 7th, 2003, 01:16 PM have you guys ever been to megamall, sm centerpoint, sm city and sm manila? i don't mind their motorcycle parking areas in their car park buildings. true that they make you pay the same rate as cages and are allowed to park only in designated parking slots for bikes, but the slots aren't congested at all. in sm megamall for instance, they have motorcycle parking spaces in every floor of mega A and mega B. these spaces are positioned just beside the exit teller of each floor. and it's very seldom that these spaces are crowded. plus, the spaces are right beside where the guard is. di ba mas ok? same thing with sm centerpoint.
at sm manila on the other hand, i have to extend extra acolades. they do have a motorcycle parking area just after you enter the carpark building. this area is most of the time crowded. but, they don't prevent you from going up the upper levels. heck you can even park right by the entrance for as long as your bike isn't in the way. i find sm manila very biker friendly...
i think i have to collect on my advertising fees now... :D

The MC parking is at the back of both Mega A and B on the ground floor. Last time I checked, the parking is free and a security guard is always stationed in the vicinity. The bad side is, it is unroofed and most of the time it is full and you will have to wait for a few minutes for someone to leave before being able to park.
When full, I would go to the main parking facility. (You don't need to fall in line like the cages do. The security guards would let you through. Just wave nicely ;)). You have to pay, though. However, your bike is not exposed to the sun.
