Mga Bro may bagong akong helmet, ZEUS Z-2100 color: E1-RED. ask ko lang po kung DOT approved ba ito and also snell approved? kasi wala siyang sticker sa likod ng DOT or Snell tulad ng HJC, ARAI etc... pero sa Strap nito may ECE certification. salamat!

OT: sir try niyo po read last few pages ng "Dangerous Helmets" thread... Common misconception daw po kasi ang pagsasabi na "DOT Approved" ang isang helmet... As far as I can remember, may nagsabi sa thread na yun na la talaga DOT certified helmet... nagbibigay lang sila ng standards tapos sinusunod lang ng manufacturers. pag tingin nila it meets or exceeds DOR standards, nilalagyan nila mismo ng sticker o tinatatakan ng DOT.

you don't even need a snell certified helmet daw, DOT (standards) will do the job. masyadong strict daw kasi yung test ng snell, they will crash teh helmet at 200G at the same place in the helmet. eh sa actual accident naman daw, very rare daw yun.

Zeus helmets na 4500 up ang cost kahit walang sticker ng dot ok na. subok ko na mga bro. three times na kong sumemplang gamit ko Zeus helmet na walang dot stiucker. nabili ko sa Katipunan ung bilihan ng mga big bikes at accesories. just this sunday nag crash motor ko sa likod ng lancer at 90 kph, nag bounce ung ulo ko sa pavement, njust cratches sa helmet, ok naman ulo ko. so ung mga certification na yan sticker lang yan basta me tatak at nabili mo sa big bikes store hindi ka nila bebentahn ng hindi safe to use na helmets.

so ung mga certification na yan sticker lang yan basta me tatak at nabili mo sa big bikes store hindi ka nila bebentahn ng hindi safe to use na helmets.

Brother, I think mali ang opinion mo na ''...sticker lang yan...''. I think totoo naman or 'genuinely' it meets or exceeds DOT/SNELL standards talaga ang ibang brand of helmets kaya meron silang sticker na DOT/SNELL.

Also, hindi porke nabili mo sa bigbikes store ay safe na ang nabili mong helmet. Again better visit the snell and dot websites para ma confirm mo na genuine na pumasa sa standard ng mga ito.
