Sinagot ko na 'to before but due to the problems MCP encountered lately, nawala yung mga replies....simulan ko uli for the benefit of the members...

IMO, i would be confident if i know that i'm wearing a certified helmet, at least DOT, much better kung may other certifications pa rin from other groups like Snell, ANSI, ECE, etc. since i'm sure na dumaan at pumasa sa rigid testing ang helmet model.

with regards to the give-away helmet. tamang-tama yung pangalan...apng GIVE AWAY talaga. I won't trust my head in one of those things...sabi nga..."if your head is worth P300 only, then wear a P300 helmet....

pareho tayo everyday helmet. LTO approved??hehehe... :)
pero tulad nga ng iba, buy a DOT certified helmet, at least. and a reminder lang... dapat yung OK na OK lang ang fit, wag super snug fit.

Alam ko ok ang Fulmer at meron pa siyang model na SNELL standard. I think you should check the DOT website para ma determine mo na genuinely DOT standard siya.

Sir,

I am not an expert but from what I have read these DOT, SNELL, ECE, ...etc. certifications are notices of the Helmets capacity to absorb the impact in a crash. In other words, peace of mind and protection to one's head.

Certifications to the user give an assurance that at impact in a crash the helmet can absorb a given amount of stress which would protect your head and brain.

In my case, I strongly believe in the saying "An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure." Meaning if I can avoid or prevent an accident from happening I would avoid the accident. Nothing can beat that. Never forget to also pray before and after every ride, best protection.

So always pray and drive safe sir.

God Bless.

very true RASor.....
prayer is the best "helmet and gear" to use. i never ride my bike without a liitle prayer,
and also upon arrival. of course i don't forget to wear the true gears...

You are absolutely correct brother. By God's grace I am still alive for the past 5 years I was riding a motorbike. Until now He keeps saving me from all dangers along the roads I am using. The best protection is really prayer before riding our bikes, and thank Him for he guides and protects you/us after the ride/s (short or long trips).

I think riding a motorbike will keep us calling and thinking always God, I am glad motorbikes are becoming popular as means of transportations. Ang pagmo-motor I think lalo pa tayong mapapalapit sa Diyos. Buti nalang.:)
