Good day.....as far as i have known....the smallest size of a sub woofer speaker is 6.5 inch no less......upwards.....About rewinding the speakers...I as technician do not actually recommend rewinded speaker voice coils....WHY?....there are many probable problems you may encounter, such as voice coil impedance, cone resonance, bass response, and the worst of all....overheating voice coils....and this parameters may damage your amplifier......when the speakers got shorted...the output of your amplifier may be damage...especially those output power transistors....etc...thats...really asssssssssssss in the pain if it happens....

I have this setup for almost 8 months na still working no degration whatsoever........I am posting this pics to give you an idea where to put everything...to be able to still use the u box.....1 woofer, 2 tweeters, 1, equalizer, 1 stereo ampli 2x45watts RMS.....only one channel used....

Daddy G

meron bang ampli na 2x100watts w/ built-in crosssover na kakasya sa XRM?

meron bang ampli na 2x100watts w/ built-in crosssover na kakasya sa XRM?

Mr. DADDY G.....meron sa raon.....pero looks like na malayo ka dito sa manila.......yung pang kotse type kasi....the higher the wattage of the amplifier...the bigger it can get.......because of the SMPS built around the amplifier module.......SMPS stands for switching mode power supply....which converts 12v dc to a higher rating that the amplifier needed.....let us say +/0- 30v which is the nominal voltage for a 2x100 watts amplifier........IF ITS IN RMS value to be exact.....

Regarding your info about rewinding the speakers....i told you not recommended but you can try 1 and have it rewinded in RAON....where the place for everything you need with regards to audio related.....

paano ba setup ng speakers, kung 2x100w yung ampli kailangan ba 100w din yung sub, mid, at tweeters? atsaka diba 2 channel yun paano kung isang sub lang ang ilalagay?

Not really.....the best for me and my opinion.....i used lower rating of speakers than the amplifier so that the amp can drive the speakers at its fullest capacity or performance....so that the ampli too will not be saturated enough to have distortion.....my setup as i told you composed of one equalizer stereo type 5 band.....an ampli 2 x 45 watts, a woofer at 30 watts a tweeter at 100w and no midrange.....midranges are used only for 500hz to 5khz..........audibility......but because of the equalizer i fitted in my set up....adjustable frequency for speakers good response...

take note of the tweeter....100w...it really dont care with regards to the spec of ampli..though the higher rating will mean......stability at high volume because it can handle....peaks of high frequency...

If you still have some questions Mr. DADDY G.....private messages will do

If you will see the picture......try looking at the handle bar END.....thats two tweeter act as my handle bar end...MY original bar end was stolen so I decided something on it.....so that water will not goes to the inside of the bar that will start rusting....

By The way...tweeters dont care if they get wash or get wet...as long as they are the PIEZO type.....thats why i fitted it in my handle BAR......COOL.....

Guys, just wondering, can you enjoy your sounds with your helmet on? Don't you think it would be more practical kung naka-ipod na lang kayo?

I'll try to get the question back to you.....Can you enjoy your sounds with your earphone plug into your ear....?

Are'nt you aware that it is dangerous to plug something on your ear....and somewhat might not be able to hear blowing horn elsewhere..... or engine sounds behind you.....HOW STUPID THINKING...........Maybe try to put a BROADCASTING big HEADPHONES INSTEAD.......MUCH BETTER.....maybe :g

up ko lang yung question ko

regarding to your question....of course equalizer, 5 bands or sven bands must comes first before the amplifier.....this will adjust the individual frequency ranges of your input....boost or cut a desired tones.....there are twelve volts equalizer...commercially kit......but they are all sounds sucks.... almost all of them...i have and nothing can beat my DIY equalizer......my own design...actually i have many of them....and they have been used for a particular amplifier i built......we must be aware of their compatibility.....not all equalizer and amplifier match with each other...so proper tuning is required...

Hope i've already answer your questions.....

i agree with crauss medrano.

though in my opinion the guy that posted suggesting to use ipod instead, I admit I use that. As long as you keep the volume down enough for you to hear the ambient noise around you. Walang pinagkaiba yan sa sounds system ng cage. If you pump up the volume too loud, youre also in danger not hearing anything around you besides your music. For me, It doesnt make sense to put speaker system on a bike and plays it as you cruise around, I just thought of it as to "catch" attention just like any other souped up sounds of a cage. But just chillin around parked, thats fine. Its just my opinion. I dont want to wage word war. I wont say a word again for the response regarding my statement.

Thanks BRO....for your suggestion...but i am just trying to give them some advice that not all aftermarket or pre assembled kits in especially in RAON....really says what it produce....let us say.....an amplifier that produces 500watts per channel in a small metal case.......or an equalizer that adjust a 32hz frequency.........that is too annoying knowing to have to be expensive if its true...and if they are just bargaining it a cheap price means you cant even get that specs after all..............

Yes i bought some cheap products in RAON......budget is loww sometimes...but since i am a tech.....i am just modifying everything in it and start from scrap...using all its internal components......and thats where i am starting....and after i havent reach the best possible outcome of the project...i'll just keep on modifying until its really a JUNK....and thats where i'll start again.....

We just need to keep in mind...that the cheaper the product...it will mean.....cheap performances too.....theres no way we can deny it.....( PLS DONT GET ME MIS UNDERSTOOD..)......to all readers......we just need to emphasize....the reality......
