imho, a full face helmet na dot aprroved, ok na. it's better na ung safety feature ang gawin mong batayan bro and not the hitsura thingy. ;)

yung pinakamalaking size nila, sumasayad na yung chin ko sa helmet if i move my chin a little forward.

meron din modular yung HJC, kaso 8T+ hehe... didn't bother to try it.

I use a HJC CL14 with my Z200. So far ok naman ang HJC and affordable pa. If you have enough dough, you could try the modular type ng HJC. Mas presko siya lalo na sa traffic coz pwede mo lift yung front face for more air. I have also seen quite a number of good INDEX helmets kaya lang yung mga index are more popular sa mga underbone riders. Now if you really have the budget, AGV or Caberg are good choice.

Newbie ako sa mga helmet at di ko talaga alam ang mga brand..setting aside yung mga prices, gusto ko lang malaman ang bagay sa ating klima sa Pinas, at saka yun bang di masyadong mabigat sa ulo na para kang me diving gear..

basta go for the full-face helmet with at least DOT certification. mas maganda if its SNELL approved.
i heard the HJC CL14 is cool coz it has 6 vents? (tama ba ko) and its ultra-lightweight. the zeus 508w i think has the same weight as the CL14, it's cool when you're moving. during traffic you can flip up the whole face/chin bar to cool your face. all modular helmets are DOT certifed only.

if you're goin for dark colored helmets, at least yung helmet mo may reflectorized strips para at least mag reflect ang light pag nailawan.

Bro, maufacturers normally should be tested by the manufacturer's...kaya lang mas ok kung may mga test made by an independent group...in one of the issues of Motorcyclist magazine i've read (some years back) they've posted their findings. Arai and Shoei Helmets got the highest rating, may kamahalan nga lang....

inggat lang sa pag kabit ng mga stickers sa helmet. some manufacturers have their warranty voided if their are stickers on it. worst, some stickers may actually damage or weaken the helmet's ability to absorb full impacts.

wag na kayo buy ng helmet mga z200 user, yun na lang libre pag bumili ka ng china made na u bones, hehehe, yung saklob lang sa ulo na me maliit na strap, tutal di naman takbo ma2lin yan kasya pwede na maliit na helmet jan, hahaha...

you may or may not be joking... but the point is, regardless of the speed of your motorized 2-wheeled vehicle, safety should always come first.

The argument that scoots/underbones/china bikes are slow (which is a misconception - slow in relation to what? - your safety?) should NEVER be an excuse NOT to invest in certified and proper safety gear - especially the HELMET.

Your argument, albeit jokingly, is like saying that "I don't need to wear a helmet kasi malapit lang naman pupuntahan ko eh" - which is really irresponsible reasoning at best. :rolleyes:

Snug fit sya and I need to wear a balaklava otherwise gasgas ang tenga ko. ;) Yung model ko pala yung na-itataas yung buong face plate maliban dyn sa "windshield".

Medyo mas mabigat sya sa Index na helmets so medyo may neckcramps ako the first few days. :D
