Hello to MCP & all the bikers (& non-bikers alike);

I'm new here in the MCP & wondering where my fellow c200 owners are? This site has lots of things going on for many groups with common types of bikes but i cant find the group of c200's. Can anyone help me find them?

If there is no such group yet, i know of a place where fellow c200's owners may meet. The place offers FREE playing time on their pool table, NO CORKAGE for DRINKS & FOOD that'll be brought in, & it's located near Katipunan Ave, in Quezon City. Practically the site is somewhere between the east, west, north, & south of metro manila making it easier for us c200 owners to meet. So if you're a c200 owner, follow this thread & maybe we could set up a schedule to meet at said place (again for FREE) & maybe we could start something. We could share ideas re our bikes & probably start our own FUN OUT-OF-TOWN RUNS. I haven't run my bike out of the Metro.

That'll be for now. Hope to here from you guys out there. Safe ride! :)

Hi Byker,

Imagepro here. I also live within the area of katipunan, along Loyola Heights. I would love to meet with other bikers using the C200. I bought my C200 last year but was not able to use it extensively because I've been very busy.

Pls. PM me the location in Industrial Valley Subdivision.

Thanks!

hello wonderloo;

I just answered your queries regarding c200 on the thread titled "similar bikes of Loncin to that of Z200". please read it & you might get some helpful infos.

the main dealer of Loncin where you'll find a c200 i supposed is in mandaluyong city. opposite JRC along shaww blvd., you enter this road & you'll find it somewhere there. last april, the price of it was Php63T.

happy bike hunting! if you'll opt for a C200, welcome in advance to our community. :)

hello bro,

personal opinion lang po, i think china made bikes' performance & durability as compared to the Big 4 jap models is still in the infancy stage. the exterior designs are great & they copied the engine components. but the sturdiness of its components & perfection of its fittings are still for improvement. bottom line however, irregardless of the make of the bike, the lenght of the service a bike will give its owner is proportionate to the care & maintenance an owner will invest on his bike. value for for money, china bikes are above in its class.

if you opt for a cyclone 200, welcome to the club. :*

CBR150 Ms. Loo. Nice bike. But a bit pricey for me, 135k to 150k is the going rate for this bike.

good luck wonderloo. try mo sa bikewise sa caloocan 3232835 (look for eric), bka meron pang c200, dto ko nabili yung unit ko. meron din bikewise sa tutuban.

sa tapat nila, andun naman yung z200.

guys, nga pala, i broke my choke cable, nasobrahan ata ng hila. may nakapagpalit na ba sa inyo nito? pareho din ba ito sa xlr200? (i have doubts na hindi kasi sa carburator na ito nakakabit at hindi na engine.

question lang sa mga c200 owners...

Madali ba 100KPH sa bike nyo?
I can't seem to go past 80kph. Tried sa macapagal and sa daang hari. I have the same engine pero sa cruiser version. I hope its not a rider problem. :o

3rd gear@6000rpm = 60kph
4th gear@6000rpm = 80kph
5th gear@6000rpm = 80kph

I tried all the way up to mga 7-8000rpm before shifting
80kph pa din sabi ng speedo ko... :?

based on your experiences with this engine.. What do you think
- speedo may problema
- engine may problema
- rider may problema

Waahhh! Kwento lang ako...

huhuhuhu...

Tuesday the 13th accident for me...

Hi guys...

I have bad news...a bad experience.

I was with my friend George, a notable expert rider of any big bikes... (buti na lang),

we were going to Lopez Sucat Parañaque, hayyy...hanging kasi, tapos may gutter,

tapos may kahoy, tapos may pothole na may tubig...nalusutan kasi ni George, so I

thought kaya ko rin with my new bike...

Sige! Pasok...I was on 1st Gear, paakyat...heavy traffic by the way, umakyat ako,

naku! nagtuluy-tuloy sa gutter paakyat! I hit a meralco cement post (sumalpok!) I got

unconscious for about 2 seconds there. I hit the post, then out of control, out of

balance, I hit the car (naka-stop) sa left ko...parang nag-bounce ako...tapos tuluy-tuloy

ako sa harapan nya...

On thing I remember, nakahiga na ako sa hood ng car nya...with my dropped bike na

rin. I called George, medyo nagpanic at na-shock ata sya...people carried me and

George lifted the bike.

Hayyy...

results:
a dented ford lynx
a dented frong fairings
a cracked side fairings
heavy scratches on the fairings

and (me, the rider)
7 pasa (bruises), 3 scratches, a minor broken middle finger and a bad twisted wrist...

pero, ok lang naman ako...lesson learned. an expensive one.

Please ride safely guys...

hayyy...newbie talaga.
guys, sama nyo pa rin ako sa mga fun ride nyo ah...
I'll learn naman in the process.

Goodluck po sa inyo and get well soon...

@wonderloo

i'm sorry to hear about your accident...but it's very good to hear that you're fine & the accident has not cost you to loose interest in biking. that's the right attitude! you just have to be more careful in your driving. motosiklo is right in saying that 1 should be wary if 1 is tentative of the driving conditions. kapag may kaba, follow your guts & slow down or stop.

when you're with some other bikers, 'wag maghabol sa kanila. they won't leave you behind anyway. pabayaan mo silang mag-antay & follow your pace.

@4theride

100kph? that's very achievable with our bikes' engine. everytime i climb katipunan from Maj. dizon, i hit 100kph as i merge with the northbound traffis before reaching aurora-katipunan flyover (that's just near the corner of maj. dizon). but i plateau at that speed because i need to slow down before reaching the U-turn slot opposite Ateneo's gate 2.

i think bro the problem lies in the speedometer. i think it's not that accurate. my speedometer kasi sometimes fluctuates even if my acceleration is constant. that's weird & should not be the case. in normal acceleration, the speedometer reading should slowly be climbing since the acceleration of the vehicle is constantly increasing. a fluctuation in the speedometer suggest that your speed is increasing & decreasing at the same time. your bike is under warranty, so may i suggest you have it check by the dealer.

driver problem? nah, coz you mentioned your trying to hit 100kph. you have to be squeezing your engine to reach 8000rpm.

engine problem? nah, coz you didn't mention your engine to be faltering/fallado. even if the engine is stuttering, you can still reach 100kph so long as you can squeeze high rpm from your engine, yun nga lang pupugak-pugak ang takbo mo.

@Wonderloo
Wow!
Na visualize ko lahat ng sinabi mo. Parang slow-mo pa sa isip ko habang nag kwento ka. Takot ako sa banketa/gutter, ngayon lalo na. :eek:
Drive safe Please.

@Byker
Thanks for the feedback. Feeling ko mga 90-110 takbo ko nun time na yun kasi ang taas RPM tapos nginig na talaga bike and wala na akong katabi bike or cage, but the speedo still says 80!

Speaking of accidents kwento ko lang what happened this AM in front of my office. Race bike going his merry way (a bit fast) passes a 4 way intersection. Green light sya, walang ibang cage.

unknown to him...meron palang humahataw from the opposite side, counterflowing (may divider na island take note) na Revo. Head-on. Bike goes down while revo flees the scene (nakuha plate ng guards namin and reported it na to pulis) bike is totalled and biker broke left arm in several places - possible back injury pa, he looked bad.

Don't know what happened to him after sinakay sya sa vehicle to go to hospital - i just saw the aftermath and interviewed the guards. Revo driver this one is for you :g

4 the ride...nung break in yung bike ko, parang sgad na yung 100, nanginginig..lalo na sa 80-100. pero nung na brake in na, wala nang ngnig past 100...up to 120-130kph cguro natakbo ko sa tagaytay. not sure though how accurate the speedo is.

may rattle problem din yung RPM ko before due to vibration pero eventually, nawala nung di na masyado nagvibrate after breakin. granstar actually had it for replacement, kaso di na ako nakabalik kaya di na pinalitan.

about the accident, bka pwede sir ipost sa isang thread yung plate number nung revo. mcp user kaya yung rider?

wonderloo...ingat. its all part of the learning process. pero try to learn at your own pace. when in doubt or kabado. stop until confident ka na. good to hear your ok! :)

Hello victory;

Last toy run, I met a group of riders & one of them is jay who also rides a C200. Are you jay or among his group. Ariz mentioned me he met jay's group when he had his seats modified in Proj. 4.

Regards to everyone in your group. Your group will be a welcome addition to any of our group's activities.:*

I finally went past 12k on the odometer. Finally the the engine vibration is gone, i've finished the break in period (i think). The c200 can now easily reach the 100kph mark without the usual vibration and still I can reach 120kph at 7000rpm without hesitation.

I still use the original setup of the bike, mufflers, sprockets, tires, regular NGK spark plug and premium gasoline. I kick start in the morning and the engine starts without the aid of the throttle.

Still the same mileage at 35-40 kilos per liter. At a year old the c200 still smells like new and the paint job that they did on the body work is still shiny, considering I always park under the sun and under rains every day.

Hi guys,

I'm also a proud owner of Loncin200. kaya lang taga Pampanga pa ako.
Anyway here are the mods I did to my bike: modified mufflers, re-jet, replaced air filter, re-painted to lime green and replicated decals of ninja, my brother gave a me a pair of authentic ninja side mirrors. I removed the main stand ksi sumasayad when I get really low on a curve.

I always ride with a helmet.

Safe riding mga tsong.

Nice concept of using Ninja. If the bike on the avatar is your bike, job well done bro. What did you do with the rear seats: paint job, re-upholster, or seat cowl?

God bless you & your wife's Dubai plans. I'm sure the nasbikes will be missing one good friend. Maybe you can join the dragons run on February 12 to Tagaytay. One last ride before you fly. (",)
Regarding jersey's completion, I think the best persons to ask are adventurer and 4theride. They are the ones involved in the ordering. I really don't know when the completion is going to be but hopefully on or before our Feb. 12 run.

@ Victory: re-jet is the replacement of jet needle in the carb assembly to get back the right air/fuel mixture. But you only need to do that kung di mo na makuha ang adjustment dun sa air/fuel mixture screw. Pag hindi ksi tama ang air/fuel mixture, backfire ang resulta. Actually I just used a thinner filter, 1 ply of foam will do (para mas maraming hangin ang mahigop ng carb.) I'm planning to re-modify my mufflers again to get a "woof" sound just like a big bike. Next would be to lift the back a li'l bit.

@byker: yup that's my baby, 40 days in the making. Paint lang dun sa back seat. Dapat upholstery sana kaya lang di ako makahanap ng tamang kulay at that time.

@jdfvroooom1: Thanks for the Info sir, I'll make myself available on that month Kabalen.

i was driving to home last night and saw a double deck truck and its motorcycle cargo. It was big bike, then i came closer to take a glimpse of it, i guess they are new Cyclone 200. It looks bigger than the current ones and maybe a 250cc displacement

Ganda ng Cyclone mo Sir! :)
