Helmet making has become a multi million dollar business over the years. what better way to increase sales by creating an article concerning helmet functionality. I think the media has become an advertising arm of companies. These kind of articles are a sublime way of promoting products in the open market. What better way than to pick a high selling, international magazine to praise your helemt for low price and safety benefits.
If these new and overpriced helmets offer too much protection, is it safe to say that their older models will still be alright to use since they were created a few years ago? most are still on offer from stores right now.
I surely will not be surprised if they receive a big, fat "gift" from these companies this coming christmas.
Oh, but I am pretty sure that they did it in pursuit of truth.
