View Full Version : Is questioning and opposing dubbed as "paninira" nowadays?
click_me
October 21st, 2011, 05:27 AM
When I started MRO, I did so with the intention of saving the ordinary rider from being abused and mistreated on the streets...
I had some oppositions and resistance from some...
Someone even said I got paid by the government at one point when they thought the battle against the Anti-Modification law was loosing...
Now, people are saying I started the "paninira" with the other group... All I did was question their reasons as to why they chose to apply the motorcycle lane...
My question/s, did I ever mention their name directly?
Did I ever say anything negative about them?
Did I ever assume anything about their intentions?
So why am I being pointed out as the person who threw the first insult?
Asking questions and trying to understand the logic and study of the MC lane is considered an insult?
How come I am being blamed for somebody quitting?
How many times did I ask the forumers here to stop the bashing?
Is there anything to gain with that?
Do you understand the implications of the exchanges you have been doing on the forums and on Facebook?
They say that I am to blame for whats happening to their ranks... They say, Ako daw unang nanira... I merely asked a why and asked the Government why they didn't call other riders?
Since I left my meeting earlier up until a few minutes ago, my phone kept on ringing and getting hate messages each time I answer, people on the other line are calling me names at naninira daw ako... Some even threatened me...
I wanted to update people as I had some news that will move us to the next step, but the calls and texts got me thinking the whole night... I didn't know whether I needed to be scared or do what I came here to do...
I remember Stir warning me about not taking these things lightly and to be extra careful in the presence of these threats...
So please, I implore all of you... The bashing and exchange is not just immature, but it causes to much strain on emotions and just wanting to do what's right...

just because a group's name have the word Philippines in their group, doesn't mean they are rulers of the land.
just because a group's name has the word Federation, doesn't mean they will dictate what needs to be done.
majority of the motorcycle community are ordinary people.
People who was not even informed properly on the appropriate channels.
a Community of ordinary people that traverse to and fro the lands of our country.
the same people that is requesting for a further explanation and requesting for a resolution beneficial for everybody
democracy is not run by imperial rule if i remember it correctly.
a group is different from a majority.
the old saying is, nobody is above the law
but i guess the laws of the land doesnt implore on these people, probably because they think they are above it and is itching to dictate what is best not for the country, but for them

To answer your question Sir, questioning and opposing is not the same as paninira. Given that the person/group you are questioning or opposing has an open mind and always think for possible ways to make one's situation better.

The damn threats won't let up...
They wont let me sleep...
Are these threats even close enough to becoming a reality? I do not know the whole story sir. But looking at the threats you posted, these are threats coming from kids. These people have the guts to say whatever they want on the internet, but will never have the balls to show up in person.
Coming from someone who doesn't know the whole story (me), I suggest you just ignore these threats sir. As long as you know that you are doing the right stuff, then there should be no reason to be fazed by these kids.
Now, should anything physical happen, that will be another story. Keep us updated here, and I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of "real" people who's more than willing to help you. Most people in forums exists "only" in forums. But believe me, there are still a few who's willing to help in the real world.
Keep it up brother. ;)

Doing the "right" thing doesn't always mean doing the right thing.
The point is, let's do it in a more subtle way...

First, my hat's off to Click Me. Even with the support of some, it's difficult to go against very powerful people, much more against the authorities who are supposed to protect everyone's welfare.
MCP has a long and tough line of riders who fought for the riding public. Some of the are still here, the others are now living their private lives. Anyhow, I see that Click Me is what this community needs. Somebody who doesn't have big plans for himself but selflessly treads on rough roads for the riding public's welfare.
I see no wrong with what he did and still is doing. That other group can blame anybody they want, but the way I see it, they're the dragon that ate its own tail.

If I wiuld be Atoy and I would have nothing hiding up under my sleeves, I would meet with Jobert as well as Stir to clarify things and spread the all my cards on the table. Heck If I could even rub shoulders with Tolentino, I'd have him join the meeting as well...
There will be disagreements but I'm sure there will be a compromise from both sides... Heads of MCPF should've done this since day 1 before the sparks grew to a fire...
As a transparent and responsible leader under criticism... he should've faced whatever is exploding right in front of him...
MCPF has agood name... good organization... but the leaders have more ego than sensible judgment... There have been friction between MRO and MCPF way way back.. they should've settled differences way way back... before this issue blew up...
As for the threats... Never mind that... text messages, phone calls.. still no reason to back down...
TS you are not an unsung hero... Of course, forumers aren't just behind the keyboard... they try to do something way over the line... trust that forumers have something up on their sleeve too... they just prefer to stay in the shadows and you are on the spotlight...
Whatever those threats may really mean, Atoy and jojo must be wise enough to keep their men from doing anything stupid... The last thing they want is to have blood on their hands... That will definitely take their names down to the mud...

They wont let me sleep...
Your protection will be in our prayers bro. God knows you are only standing for what is right. Even the mighty prophet Elijah stood up against overwhelming odds (king Ahab and the 450 priest of Baal) and came out vitorious through the power of God, yet when he was threatened by the king's wife he feared for his life, but God assured him because he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord.

After a very long night, still sleep deprived and almost senseless, I got up this morning and found my self working hard to battle the people who are strangling motorcycles...
Needless to say, I have decided to forgive all those who have sent hurtful and threatening messages my way... I have decided to do what I have started... I have decided that I cannot leave the people, no matter how many or how small they are... If they need me, I will be there...
This thread has given me the moral boost I needed from the longest night of my life... Thank you guys! Thank you from the bottom of my heart...
With that said, I would like to correct my self from what I have been saying lately... MRO is not a one man show... The things I do, I do because of the support given and received... MRO is not just me... It is you, them, the cagers, bus drivers, jeepney drivers, pedestrians and anybody who uses the road... They are all part of MRO... We do this because we fight for equality... Equality that everybody should attain and enjoy... Equality that our constitution has guaranteed each and every Filipino...
Today, I have gone through hell and heaven...
I started the day picking up the clothes from outside the house (the commander got mad last night and almost threw me out of the house :O) and taking the family to a hearty Sisig and Sizzling tuna belly lunch at Parilla (bati na kami ulet). As we were eating, GMA7 called and invited me to do an interview for Reporters Notebook. I obliged and set off to meet with them after lunch.
The interview was not to long nor too short, but I was able to say what I wanted to say about prejudice, unfair profiling, putting the burden on the end user for the enforcement's accountability and how riders are being discriminated... I was fairly satisfied, but I will hold my breath until it comes out.
Anyway, before the interview started, the much awaited call came... What I... Let me rephrase that... What we have been waiting for is done...
So right after a few outside shots of me riding my scooter, I waved the camera crew goodbye and set off to meet with another group that holds the holy grail of our cause...
I do not need to expound on what it is... I will just let the image do the talking...

First of all, i want to thank you Sir Jobert for the sacrifices and efforts na ginagawa mo para sa motorcyclists. I just want you to know na naniniwala ako sa mga "adhikain" mo, although i'm just a newbie let me extend my moral support. That only shows their "STUPIDITY".
Don't lose hope Sir and may the God Bless You and our Brothers!

Here in the Philippines, we are living in ONE BIG SCARCITY environment that compose of people, places and things that fears of loosing something everyday.
Let's recall, when was the last time we enjoy a smooth ride along metro manila area? Maybe once or never at all. Everyday majority of people wants to rush things up.
Sir click_me, I've once been a leader too on a small group before and I never stop getting this kind of messages just like yours. Natural lang yan. Well in fact, I'm just handling a very small group before where in suddenly I attract more people to hate me because of me leading more people to think and act more wisely.
Then that's the time good leaders receives treats and hate messages kasi nga... the leader and his people chooses NOT TO BECOME SLAVES.
But still, be more extra careful sir, Politics is dirty... that's why I'm forbidden to involve in any kinds of community activity that requires leadership and politics. Bawal na yan kasi sa Temple namin eh ~_~ Once you are involve in Politics, the only way to get out of trouble is to climb up, we are here to support for the future of motorcyclists....

Just got an update...
Apparently, there is a post from the other group's page with my picture on it...
They are saying that I am claiming that we won against the Anti-Modification Law back in 2008 which isn't true DAW...
But wait, what is the suspension below for?
You can see links before reply
Apart from this, they are saying again, that I received money from the accessories dealers back then...
I would like them to bring forth their witness and evidence that I received money...
Back to the claim that we won over the anti-modification law, I don't understand why they are saying that we didn't when in fact, they were there when it happened...
Here comes the funny part... They are questioning the voluntary donations that we are getting to fight the injustices that they have declared support on...
Anyway, here are the stuff that has been shared with my by a kind forumer and FB friend...

I really don't get it...
I have never mentioned them anywhere by name... I react sometimes, but I'm very diplomatic about my reactions... I don't attack them on a personal level nor do I say anything against the group...
I did question their reasons for supporting the Motorcycle Lane... Is it bad to question them on that aspect? I just wanted to understand why they supported it...
So what gives? I really don't understand why...
Oh well... If that makes them happy, I am happy for them... I'm not the one resorting to personal attacks and propaganda...
Oh, one more thing... If they are not careful with what they are doing, MRO's lawyers may resort to filing a slander and libel case... That will pay for all the legal work that they have been and will be doing for the organization...
Oh, were registering too... I know I should have done it sooner and I am sorry for it... Turns out, we cannot sell fund raising stuff if we don't have SEC and BIR documentation... So let's take care of that now...

You are serving as a linchpin that threatens a multimillion organization. Do the math:
P500 annual membership fee
x
1,000,000 members
Some organizations have killed for less.
Better start looking for powerful friends.
