5. para mabawasan ang vibration, palit na rin ang sprockets...

in all, masarap pa ring gamitin and performs well... 130 kph pa rin ang top speed and can maintain an average cruising speed na 90 kph kahit medyo matagal na..

ahhh, meron nang aftermarket nun, commonly seen sa underbones... eto yung parang tube, tank like na merong hose sa dulo connected sa malapit sa carbs..
yun kasi skin, medyo crude pa - out of tin can and placed near sa block para kapag umiinit na ang makina mas maganda excitation ng hangin to sustain air needed by the carbs at high rpm....
hmmmm, wala pa rin namn akong mods.... rocker arm and cam shaft lang cguro dahil pinalitan na galing honda xlr... inisip ko dati na i-rebore (to 325cc), and chage cdi, etc.... d lang natuloy....

I have posted this before in the other thread......its been over two years now and the bike is still great!
i've been riding my predator 200 for 11months now and to tell you, maraming ring hassles ako na na-experience on my first three months ride... i would say this is the dark phase ng riding sa predator dahil din siguro sa china made, i-expect mo na hindi pulido ang pag-kakaassemble nya (sabi nga nung manager sa kin 2 out 10 lang ang lumalabas na okey), supposedly maraming problema na lilitaw within this period so i suggest na bugbugin mo na ang unit mo asap bago maexpire ang warranty... eto yung experiences ko:
1.electrical harnessing nya- dahil nga CDI konting problema sa electical connection magtutulak ka para mag-start sya, so i suggest na i-check mo lagi yung grounding mo and kung kaya mo pa, yung linyada ng wires mo... (ilang beses din ako nagtulak dahil dyan...)
2. i would also suggest na wag kang magpapawala ng glass fuse or as alternative spare wires na maliit... sa lakas kc ng engine vibrations, malimit na madisconnect yung mga connections mo and during troubleshooting malamang na mag-open ang main fuse mo.
3. sobra ang vibration ng motor natin ! lagi kang mag higpit ng engine brackets para mabawasan. kung gano kadalas, sa 'yo na yun... ensure mo rin na enough yung clearance ng covers mo sa frame, kung pwede, you put rubber as spacers para di mabasag ang covers mo (ako late ko na nagawa kaya basag na yung side covers ko, putol na bracket ng horns, meron nang mga cracks ang ibang parts, etc)...
4. kung meron kang remote control, iwasan mo na ring i-start ang engine mo using this... dahil sa delay, medyo malaki ang tsansa na masira ang starter mo agad (nagpalit na ako after 3months lang, luckily under warranty pa)- and plus yung danger na matumba ang mc mo dahil minsan kahit wala pa sa neutral ang gear mo nakailaw na ang neutral lamp - so pag-start mo lulundag na ang motor mo...
5. isa pa, merong nagsuggest sa kin (na matagal nang rider and hobbyist) na gumamit daw ako ng caltex gold instead of the other high octane gas. before kase laging palyado ang start-up ko, later finding out na hindi maganda ang sunog ng sparkplug ko... ang main reason daw is yung grade ng metal ng china engines hindi kaya ang burning temp ng ibang gas kaya ang mabilis masira/magdumi ang spark plug and dahil sa nit, dagdag stress pa to sa piston during running... so yung nga raw gold ang may mas favourable sa engine natin---ewan ko kung tama yung naintindihan ko pero ang mahalaga, after switching from velocity gas to caltex gold, naging "mas" madali nang mag-start ang engine ko and hindi ko na kailangang maglinis ng sp ng madalas...
PERO ang bottom line nito, okey ang performance ng mc ko.... mabilis ang pick-up, it can do 80kph at 3rd gear as quickly as 6 to 8 seconds... yun nga lang given a good strech, hanggang 120 to 130kph lang pero considering the displacement size, patok na 'to...

Eh sir pong, I know of a predator for sale hir in the classified. Needs new batteries daw and not registered this year. Selling for 40 thou. 2002 acquired. Is it still a gud buy or will I be able to handle and maintain the bike coz im still a newbie hir? I will use the bike for everyday work from marikina to manila, will the bike withstand everyday use? I would appreciate very much other infos coming from you & other predator owners. Thanks

battery cost is only around 600P, registration would cost you from 1 to 1.5K... so at 40K, that would be good enough, though maybe you can still pull it down... chinese bikes has low re-sale value...

the bike is very ideal for everyday use, my bike use to get 30 to 35kms per liter.... maintenance is not that expensive, maintain mo lang change oil every 3Tkms (1.25L) wala kang problema (just note my comments earlier). parts are most of the times are similar with standard honda mc (from cables down to engine mechanism) so why worry....hindi rin sya matakaw sa gulong compared to higher dispalcement bikes, etc... pero i would suggest you bring a friend who knows bikes particularly this type, when you make a deal with the seller...

ps. maybe you just need to recharge the battery, i've never changed mine since, nade-drain lang sya kapag di ko nagagamit ng ilang weeks straight...(imagine!)

so again, it's a matter of knowing your bike, then you'll live together happily ever after!!! :* :*

abwt my bike, unfortunately it's gone already for 48K... last week lang, i have to let go kc... i needed immediate money, and i seldom use the bike dahil weekend lang ako nagra-ride... sayang kase... (i sold it cheap, kahit marami nang mods actually)...
of course psitive ako sa bike....ok naman talaga, consider the price and performance plus practicality, best buy na sya.... next concern na lang cguro is kung talaga bang gusto mo ung type ng handling ng bike, nang cruiser... baka kc magsawa ka agad and wud want a sportier version.......

Well been choosing between a cruiser and a sports bike pero tight nga budget. Mahirap ba ang handling ng cruiser to start with coz wala pa me experience sa mc, pero nakakagamit me ng scoot and sometimes yung wave.

mas madali at relaxed ang handling ng cruiser... if you can use underbones or smaller bikes na, predator should not be a problem... syempre, normal din na mag-adjust ka sa una, but later you see and feel the difference...
for me, predator is a good starter bike specially if you're in a budget...

bozchip, naiwan sa kin yung superfour at honda wave110... oo nga sayang, balak ko din i-retain sana kaso worried ako dahil hindi na nagagamit baka masira lang lalo, and besides i need extra pisotas...

I hope someone here could help me out. I recently bought a second hand predator 200 last year and gusto ko din sana itong pormahan. I noticed Bozchip's predator has cool accessories and that he has really done a marvelous job modifying it.

To Bozchip, I was wondering if you could give me infos for the following. Would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

1. How much yung handle bar tsaka where did you bought it? May charge din ba pag-install nun?
2. My predator's top speed is only 60, is that normal or should I have its clutch discs replaced or something?
3. I've noticed na may step-knot ka from where naka-attach yung original crashbar, how did you install it tsaka what type of step-knot did you use?

ey, for a 200cc bike it should run at least 90 to 110kph cruising speed and 120 to 130kph top speed....
baka kulang pa lang sa himas ang bike-kailangan ng TLC! read on with the previous posts so you can get the idea how to do it...

01. Handle Bar replacement
02. Head Light replacement
03. Full Body paintjob

And I also would like to ask if its normal for a Pred 200cc to just have a top speed of 90? Do you think I should replace my clutch discs or something?

Any info would be very much appreciated, thanks man.

Some other mods I want for my bike would be:
01. Side mirrors that's shaped like the west coast choppers "cross" logo.
02. A new pair of tires, preferably dunlop, but I guess there's none available that would fit our bikes.
03. Spoke Wheels.
04. A talon foot stand.

yes sir terminator sensya na ngaun lang po naka reply, sir my ride is a 2002 model of motrostar predator 150, on ur first question i think its not normal na 90kph lang ride mo saken kasi all stock 150cc nag top speed ako ng 120 change gearing ang loud pipes nag 130 po ako sir, not until nag ka problema carb ko, maybe sir you nid some adjustment sa ride nyo sir.
sa handle bar sir ako na po nag mod nun eh naka gastos po ako ng almost 3.5thou, that was 2 years ago, pasadya po kasi brake cable sir, headlight sa eastworld sir stock headlight po yun sir.
sa paint job sir naka 4 paint job na po ako sa bike ko ako na po tumitira nun eh... hope kahit konte nakatulong sir keep intouch para po some more question n details sir..... sir cool yang mga add mod na yan ah
