luckily i have claimed my free breathguard for my new HJC CL-14 Kast at triumph west..

here's what happened:

i called triumph caloocan this morning to inquire about the availability & the price of the CL-14's breath guard.. i found out that it's just free when you buy any CL-14's (smoke, kast, etc.). i complained that the CL-14 i bought from triumph west ave. has no breathguard included.. so they (triumph caloocan) courteously redirected me to their west ave. branch to claim my free breathguard.. i immediately hurried to triumph west and there i claimed my free breathguard.. just present your OR when claiming..

and my HJC CL-14 Kast shall live happily ever after... :banana:

also included in the helmet package is the carry-on bag.. i you didn't have it you should demand your rights as a consumer..

upon reading this thread, i immediately called triumph west to ask about the FREE BREATH GUARD they said it was not free and they dont have any stock of BG for CL-14..

to sir jackhammer, pano ang gnawa nyo to claim ur free breath guard?infos nman sir...luge nman kse un mga nkabili ng cl 14 tpos di nila bibigyan ng "supposed to be in the package" na BG! TIA!

and may i know kng cno kausap nyo sa truimph caloocan to call him and ask for more infos!

call kalookan branch instead... dunno his name. basta, he's the guy in charge of hjc helmets there at kalookan.

the name breathguard may not be the right term for the item... just describe it to the guy your talking to. he might mistake it for another item than can also be used in the cl-14... but it costs more... like P500 if memory serves.

Yeah, yung breath guard is free when I got my CL-14 sa Deka (funny thing is intay pa ako ng konti dahil kunuha pa nila yung helmet sa JT). Also, buti na lang sinamahan ko yung friend ko nung bumili sya sa JT sa west ave dahil wala ngang kasama yung kanya so we asked them to look for one and they did! :bouncy:

So call or visit JT na and get the breath guard that supposedly comes with the helmet.

this particular thread is really supposed to be in psrc... but i guess the moderators deemed it necessary to move it to this section of the forums since helmets ang topic... not noticing that this thread refers to another thread for consumption of mcp's general population... which is also in this thread.

anyway, as i have said in my thread here (http://motorcyclephilippines.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25102) i too found out too late about the breathguard... as you noticed i already bought one. i only found out that it's free from pixel who also wanted to buy a breathguard for he's newly bought cl-14 kast. actually, if there is anyone who should start this thread.. it should be him. right, pix? :punk:

i'm planning to go to kalookan on saturday... with receipt for both helmet & breathguard in hand... so if possible get a refund on the breathguard i bought otherwise get the free one instead since it is rightfully mine.

bro... better have them install it for you if you think you can't do it.

but here goes, there should be 3 slots (2 at the sides and 1 in the middle of the thingy with 4 holes where air from the front air vent is coming from). these slots should match the 3 tabs of the guard.

the guy who installed mine (the one i bought, remember!!) from jt slid the end of an old toothbrush to loosen up the slots of the helmet so the tabs can fit right in.

sounds difficult? =b guess better balik ka na lang sa jt... sayang naman kung mapunit yung tabs.

Lucky me dude my lid was given to me with the BG intsalled. Didn't even know about this until now. Thanks for the info though!

jas wanna share coz when i bought my CL-14 kast last month , they gave me a free breath guard together with the helmet. HJC one of the best affordable helmets.

meron iba hindi sinasama ang breath guard. binebenta kasi nila yun ng 250. sa triumph free yun.

Nabili ko kasi sya sa Cycle One Enterprises, located between 7th and 8th ave., in Caloocan, if I'm not mistaken. PHP4,400 ang bili ko sa CL-14 ko. Tingin nyo po, bibigyan nila ako ng free breath guard?

i suggest ask your dealer, if indeed ala kasama yung sa inyo.

what i know is... authorized distributor ang triumph jt ng hjc, so chances are dapat meron yung helmet mo ng BG. that is... triumph ang nagsupply ng hjc sa cycle one... w/c i doubt since you got your smoke lid P100 less than how much triumph sells it.

Pare, kulang nalang kanina magsagutan kami nung dealer e. Tinawagan ko sila sa shop nila, I spoke to them with good manners. Kaso sila pa yung may ganang magalit. Nakakairita nga e. Talagang pinagpilitan ko na may libreng BG yung helmet ko, kaso sabi nila sakin hindi naman nila itatago yun, kung meron man daw, ibibigay nila yun sakin. So talagang ayaw nila ibigay. Tapos tinanong ko sil akung kanino ko pwedeng ireklamo to, kasi mukhang hindi nyo talaga ibibigay. Bigla ba namang sinabi sakin, "sige punta ka dito, ibibigay ko sayo yung BG... kasi mahirap na, para BG lang e magka-ano pa...". SO ang nangyare binabaan ako ng telepono. Parang ayaw ko ng kunin yung BG kasi baka pag dating ko dun e may nakaabang na sakin. HAHAHA! :D Hindi naman siguro no? Hindi pa naman ako taga dun sa area na yun, malapit kasi ako sa Makati e. Kung magkagulo man, wala akong matatawagan. Imposible kasing magkaron ng one-on-one pag ganun e, siguradong gulpi abot ko sa kanila. HAHAHA! :8 Hayyyyyy... Hayaan ko nalang siguro yung BG na yun. Ang purpose lang ba nun is to avoid the face shield from moist? Ganun po ba mga pro? Sige salamat po...
