Yes there are. The obvious one that comes to mind is the On Any Sunday Riders. Check the Clubs page for contact details.

The On Any Sunday Riders is the oldest "big" biker group in Davao. The Davao Agila Riders (of which I am the secretary) is a more recently organized group and we meet every Thursday evening at Taboan at the Matina Town Square, the weather permitting. There is also the Friday Club Interceptors (mostly sportsbike riders) but I do not know if they still meet.

We (Davao Agila Riders) do not actively recruit new members. We also want to get to know a prospect reasonably well first before we induct him to the rolls. The club feels that the temperament, personality, and the level discipline (aside from riding skills, of course) of a member is crucial ensuring the safety and camarderie of the group especially after a long and tiring ride. So we first ask a prospect to join us in our socials and, initially, our short rides.

So, if you are interested in checking us out, we will be at Taboan at the Matina Town Square at around 9:30 tonight (We have a general membership meeting at Amados early in the evening.) Look for me (Bidul). We can take it from there. Let's see if you find us to your liking (and vice versa).

By the way, the On Any Sunday Riders (OASR) has the reputation of being the "sosyal" big bike club in Davao; we are the "masa" group. :-)
