FAISALABAD, April 4 (Kashar News): Authorities here Monday lifted ban on use of helmet in the wake of increase in robberies by motorcyclists in the city.

Punjab government has banned motorcycle riding without wearing helmet.

Over the directives of DIG Faisalabad Range Chaudhry Sajjad Ahmed, the ban has been lifted in Faisalabad, as the helmets are being used by dacoits and criminals, becoming a source of camouflage for them.

Use of helmet, which was earlier declared mandatory, was lifted over the demands of various business organizations.

that's true, according to some of my friends, the city govt of marikina started implementing the ban on the use of full-face helmets in marikina..only half-face lids allowed..
the reason: to see the faces of possible robbers..
me and the rest of our group strongly disagree to this ordinance passed by some businessman turned councilor in marikina...
IMHO, probably this solon is not a rider or does not know anyone who rides a bike otherwise, he wouldn't have created this ordinance in the first place.

siguro yung palabas last night sa emergency ng ch 7 are all taken from marikina hahaha.. mga naka underbone walang mga helmet!?! tsk,tsk,tsk..... yung isa naka plate p ng PSF sa side ng motor nya... ANU BA YANNN??? :banana:

bakit ganun?? tanong ko lang coz m a lil' bit curious bout what i have observed for months now... bakit karamihan sa mga naka underbone walang helmet pag nag momotor?? i dont know if its only me who are a lil' bit paranoid or its really the "in" thing nowadays that if you are riding an underbone dapat wala kang helmet specially pag me angkas kang chika-babes (para daw makita ng tao na si pogi me magandang chicks na angkas..sabi ng isang neighbor kong naka XRM). or tulad din ng nakita ko last night sa "emergency" naka helmet nga pero naka patong lang sa ULO? anu yuuunn??? meron bang ganun style ng pagsusuot ng helmet?? siguro mas maganda nun pag ganun style ng helmet mo yung brief mo nasa labas din ng pants mo para mas COOOOLLL! di ba!

Totoo yun mga bossing kasi dati mga around February yung mga Messenger samin sa office nag motor sa Marikina at sinita daw siya.. pero hindi naman kunuha yung lisensya.. Pero ngayon wala na yung batas na yun. Ang alam ko yung mga taga marikina pinaparegister nila yung helmet nila but I'm not sure of the purpose..

Eh di maglagay na din kaya sila ng CHECKPOINTS para sa mga SECURITY GUARDS dahil dumadami na ang incident ng bank robbery kung saan mga SECURITY GUARDS ang pasimuno. Stupid law.
