Off-roaders and long-distance riders are being catered for by Knox with the Ricochet Body Belt.
The CE-approved belt is fully adjustable, includig side adjustment to pull the belt tight into the lower back. Inside is an anti-bacterial sports fabric, while on the reverse are shock-absorbing plates which can stand repeated impacts.
Two sizes are available, and the belts can be used in conjunction with jackets fitted with back plates in the lining. The Small size has two plates and fits a 450mm torso, while the Large has three plates and is for a 510mm torso. Both come in Black/Chrome and cost £39.99.
