elo mga bro! bumili ako knina sa caloocan ng helmet. originally i plan 2 buy a HJC helmet but unfortunately i did not like the design of the particualar helmet so i end up buying a Zeus helmet for P4.3K .... maganda din b Zeus??? how does it compare to HJC helmets??

meron ako pareho... zeus, medyo manipis yung outer shell.. hjc, makapal. I like the fit of the hjc better than zeus... pero relative ang fit... depende sa ulo mo yan... so actually depende din sa may suot kung ok ang helmet... as long as (at least) DOT certified or ECE/Snell, ayos yan, basta tama ang fit sa ulo mo.

I'm using ZEUS 508W matte black. The Quality for me is OKAY. :C

hjc, zeus or any other helmet basta dot and snell certified eh ok naman, i guess they have their own plusses and minuses too. nasa user preferences n kc yan (affordability, taste, feel, etc. ) kng ano pipiliin mo in the end. im also using zeus flip up, and so far nman ok ung helmet. pag matt color nga lang, mapapayo ko is medyo handle with care pag bitbit or di gngamit kc gasgasin talaga, unlike ung glossy. pero syempre kung ung gasgas ay galing sa everyday use while riding eh ok lng, cause that's what it is for.. kesa nman ulo mo magasgas.. :O

also, u can enhance ur riding comfortability by replacing ung lens, u can choose from smoke,iridium and chrome... sa akin chrome minatch ko dun sa titanium matt helmet ko. :bouncy:

Yup I agree maganda talaga ang caberg justisimo meron builit na smoke shades na slide down mo lang kapag maaraw.....kung ayaw mo ng full face pwede rin syang open face :cheers:

Hunting for my new helmet a few months ago with limited budget, I also seriously considered Zeus.

However, when I finally got to scrutinize one at Action Hobbies, I changed my mind...

For me, between Zeus and HJC... Hands down, HJC!

US ba HJC:? ndi ata eh. meron akong 508w na zeus before... ang engay kahit nasa 80kph pa lang ang takbo ko, nababakbak pa ung kulay ng matt nya.

bibili sana ako ng HJC Symaxx kasi nga flip-up tapos, dun sa experience nung isang member namin, safe talaga sya. kaya lang, maliit ang xl para sa akin. e andun ang justissimo nya, offered me a very sweet deal na irresistible talaga, kaya ayun. hehehe :D

Zeus vs. HJC? no contest.... HJC

I've had the chance to owna a Zeus 2000 and now an HJC CL-14. My zeus helmet was stolen and I was about to buy a new Zues but after looking at the quality of the HJC-CL-14..I went for the HJC....

some points of comparison.....

- the Zeus breath guard (anti-fog) is a joke..its a tiny rubber pices which does not work and breakes of easily. HJC has a large breath guar and is removable/ replacable

- The HJC cheek pads are of softer/ better material and includes the neck curtain (tama ba yun? the rubber thing below the helmet) The ZEUS chelemt...di kasama yung rubber thing so when it begins to crack..you're stuck with it....

- The HJC visor also resists scratches better and is better ventilated (in the case of the CL-14) a total of 6 vents ata...

so there....you decide...

ok nayan bro ! meron den ako hjc at meron den akong zues, mukang ok naman pareho, sa gamet, kung ano mas ok or effective sa impact? ayoko na subukan, pero yung flat black na open ,full binile mo panalo yan ganda.

mas maganda ang shell ng hjc -- makapal siya.
mas maganda din ang lens ng hjc -- makapal din at di siya kaagad nagscratch.
tahimik ang hjc.

mas mura lang talaga ang zeus at parang mas readily availalble siya (mas maraming tindahan ang nagbebenta) kaysa sa hjc.

i have both hjc and zeus, the hjc seems to be of higher quality. But i like the looks of the zeus.

the hjc fits me better and has less wind noise than my zeus.

HJC has 2 flip-up models, CL-Max and Symax. pero mas maganda yung Symax model. mas maganda rin kesa sa zeus 508W. yun nga lang mas mahal.

nakita nyo na ba yung comercial ng nlex sa tv? yung dalawang naka mc ang suot na helmet ay zeus-508 na white. pogi talaga nung dalawang helmet kasi kinindatan sila nung mga chick sa kotse. :x

malaking tulong na ito kaysa naman sa wala kang suot na helmet, specially to those people whose using motorcycle as --- service or utility, now a days mas marami ang naghahanap ng abotkayang presyo na pwede na.

In a event of a crash or a fall, your helmet should crack. If you do not see a crack, there should be a hairline crack, at least. The reason for this is... if your helmet does not crack, it did not absorb the impact of your crash but your head or spine did absorb it. so, for me, a good DOT or SNELL or ECE approved helmet is the one that cracks in an event of a fall. :D

i don't know why the helmet didn't crack and at the same time wala syang head injury and spine injury...The injury he suffered were broken collar bone

Bro, Di na sakop ng helmet ang collar bone. So I don't see any reason na ma-alarm. Proven na ang HJC in terms of head protection
